*Mickie's P.O.V.*
Why is Anna being so quiet? It's not like her and no matter how many times I try to get her to tell me what's wrong, she shuts up and goes for a run and when she comes back, she still acts like she's okay. I know that ever since Nathan left for boot camp, her and Addie have been spending a lot of time together... Is there something going on between those two?! No, that wouldn't be possible because Anna loves me. She wouldn't hurt me like that.. Right?
*later that day*
Anna's POV:
I walk past Jackson's room, he's Face-Timing Nathan, but what I heard him say, shattered my heart, "Daddy, when are you coming home? Mommy cries and I can't help her all the time like you used too." He was on the verge of tears, "Baby boy, you gotta be there for your mommy, always, okay? You help her, and never argue. I love you little man." Then the Face-Time ended with a gunshot. Jackson went crazy screaming, "Where did daddy go?!" He was bawling. So, I scooped him up in my arms and held him. Soothing him, the best I could. And soon he fell asleep. And with that, I knew it was my job to find out what happened to his dad.
