Nathan did what!?

Nathan texted me which was rare, so when he texts me it's usually pretty serious...

N-"Hey Annie, I need to talk to you and you CAN NOT tell Addie. And sorry for calling you, Annie. Lol. I've done it since sophomore year."
A-"Hah you're fine, you're not the only one who calls me Annie, and of course you may talk to me!! Don't worry Nate, I can keep things from Addie pretty well lol, haha your nickname from sophomore year, but seriously tell me if you hate me calling you that, ohk?"
N-"Nope your fine... Don't be mad when I tell you this tho okay?"
A-"You didn't cheat did you? DID YOU?"
N-"Uhm. Fuck no, I might be stupid but I'm not that damn stupid, sheesh."
A-"Good. Lol. I would hope not. And since you didn't cheat, what could be so bad?"
N-"Well... I kinda enlisted in the army... And I don't have the heart to tell Addie because I made her a promise.. and I'm kinda breaking the promise.. But it's something I've always wanted... And I'm not living the dream that I've always dreamed of..."
A-"What was this promise?"
N-"That after Jackson was born, I'd stay home and raise him, so he wouldn't have the childhood you had....."
A-"Ooh? Growing up without a dad... Yeah it sucks.. but it's your dream.. You guys should've waited to have him..."
N-"Hahahaha so fucking funny ..the problem? I didn't laugh."
A-"Calm down Nate, it will be ohk. Come over next Thursday and tell her here. (:"
N-"Yeah... I'll be deployed then..."
A-"Nathan!!! -.- Monday then?"
N-"Ohk, thanks Anna Marie."
A-"OMFG you too gawd."
N-"BAHAHAHA"
A-"Kay, bitch. Kay. Lol. I'll text you later. Gtg to work. (: Let's see how many gun shot wounds will come in today..(: haha not :("
N-"You are one brave woman working in the ER... Blood, sweat, and tears. Literally."

I got out of bed and got my "beautiful" scrubs out and took a shower.. The best thing about my job? You never know what you're gonna see, hear, or do.. I'm one of the head nurses.. But I tend to stick with the small babies and children part. Though, I can work with just about everybody. I get out of the shower and put on my scrubs, brush my hair, and go make breakfast. As I'm cooking breakfast, and let Izzy and Leo out, I feel somebody snake their arms around my waist.
"Morning beautiful," Mickie whispers.
"Good morning my princess, how did you sleep?"
"Pretty good, till you took a shower."
"I'm sorry, M. but I gotta go back to work... I'll only be working one day a week though."
"Why Anna? you can't do this.. you're always switching hospitals, what is going on?!"
"Mickie stop, I'll stay in the same general area and we won't move. It will be ohk, darling."
"Anna, please don't go in today.. I don't want you to go back."
"M... I'll see what I can do. They might make me stay on call though."
"Kay baby. Rain is awake and you're making breakfast, so I'll set the table."

*after breakfast*

" Anna Lowe? Your reason for calling off today is?"-hospital operator(ho)
"I'm not feeling the best.."-A
"Alright, well should we keep you on call?"-ho
"No thanks, sir."-A
"Anything for you Anna, have a great day Hun."-ho

Haha he understood that I didn't wanna go in today, but he loves me. And before you loose your marbles because he called me 'Hun' he's gay.. and Mickie freaks out about it... And I guess I can't blame her, but sheesh he's gay and I'm a lesbian... I don't think that would happen... think about it for a second.
