The gift?

Addie finally came over.. 45 minutes later -.- She doesn't know time, either that or Nathan doesn't.. One or the other... Still, it's very annoying... any Way Mickie was smiling ear to ear.. She likes Addie because she was the only one who didn't mind our relationship as a same sex couple. And I thank her for that... Mickie was having a ball watching Rain and Jackson play, which was quite cute.. Since they were both the same age.

We all sat on the couch, watching our kids play together. Nathan holding Addie, and me holding Mickie. Addie poked me to show me that Rain fell asleep on Jackson, and he too was asleep. We let them be, and walked into the kitchen.

"Nathan, where is the "gift" we got them?" Addie asked with a smirk... When she does that, might wanna scoot back a few thousand feet 'cause it's kinda Intimidating.. Ohk maybe alot..
"In the car sweetie, want me to get it?"Nathan asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, Love."
*10 minutes later*
I hear a puppy!!! And soon enough I see two.. Both being German Shepherds, and white ones at that.. Mickie hugged Addie because she wanted these dogs for almost a month.. I gave Addie the money to put them on hold and to get them after Rain was at least a year old. And I knew Rain would bond with these puppies as well as they would bond with her.

Mickie-"Oh my.. babe!! These dogs... Howww... Waitt, babe... You didn't?"
I just smiled at her reaction and nodded. I went out and bought everything that we could possibly need for these pretty, little puppies. And she didn't even know.. haha.

Shortly after that, Jackson woke up and Nathan took them all home. We put Rain in her crib, and me and Mickie sat in the living room trying to pick out names for the dogs.

M-"I like izzy."
A-"Ohk so that's one. What's one more?"
M-"Hmmm."
A-"Leo?"
M-"Yes, baby that's perfect!"
So izzy has a blue collar, since Mickie loves blue and Leo has a light purple collar 'cause purple is pretty, and I couldn't get blue because Mickie had it. And I didn't really care what color as long as it was cute.
*3 house later*
Rain finally woke up and the first thing she said was, "Mummy, puppy." I smiled and she looked up at me with her beautiful blue eyes, and they instantly made my heart melt. I took her out of her crib, changed her and let her play with Leo and Izzy. Mickie was taking a shower, the dogs were in the fenced in yard, Rain was watching tv and I was making dinner. Rains favorite; Steak, mashed potatoes, corn and gravy. Haha my little girl. Mickie wrapped her arms around me and kissed me below my ear, that butt munch... Doesn't she know I'm trying to make dinner?....The nerve of some people....

*after dinner*

I cleaned the table and was going to wash dishes, when Mickie started to protest. "Baby girl, stop. You've done enough. Go relax, and take a bath or shower or something and let me do the dishes." I hate when she does this... She's done so much for me... "Babe, I'm doing the dishes and that's that. Go relax with Rain and watch her favorite movie."
"Anna Marie, let me do the damn dishes. You go watch Frozen."
"Was my middle name necessary?" I asked with a pout on my face.
Mickie kissed it away and replied back with, "Mhmm, but since your so damn stubborn, I'll let you do them tonight. I will do them tomorrow."
"Thank you baby. I'll let you do them tomorrow."
I let the pups back in, pinned them away in their pens, then went to sleep. With that we called it a day.
