Shes what?

*Addie's pov*

I woke up still holding onto Anna's hand. She still hadn't woken up, but there was signs she was improving. She was able to squeeze my Hand. And she's trying to open her eyes. But she's still not strong enough to do so.

Be able to hopefully later today. Marybeth came in to check on her again. "You got lucky" she said. "What, what do you mean?" I asked. Clearly confused. "You and her. Dating. You got lucky with her. She's beautiful" I smiled. Not knowing what to say. I mean. Were we dating? Because we both have feelings for each other. And she's single now. Well not technically. But she will be.

Anyway. Me and Mckalya still aren't talking. Because I slapped her. And I am still
Not sorry. I whole heartedly believe that she deserved it. Had she not cheated on Anna. And then lied to her about it. We wouldn't be in this situation. Anna would be happy. And not in this situation. I feel jealous. And i honestly don't know why. Maybe it was because she had her before I could. Maybe it was because she was hurt. And I couldn't stop it. And I couldn't protect her from it.

Anyway. I laid beside her. Marybeth was sweet enough to bring me in a bed type thingy. And surprisingly enough. It was extremely comfy. But not as comfy as my bed at home.

Out of the corner of my eye. I see Anna's eyes wide open. Staring at me intently. As if shes watched me looking at her. Yes okay. I'll admit it. I've been staring at her. More then what I probably should. But do I care? No. Because I never thought she'd notice. Clearly I was wrong. She tried to talk but all that came out was coughing. And weird mumble like sounds.

I got the nurse (Marybeth) to come in and take out the weird tube things. And asked her if she could get some ice cubes. "How are you feeling Hun?" I asked. My voice slightly shaking. She put her thumb to the side. And smiled her cheesy smile. And then I knew that she'd be okay.

*fast forward a few days*

These last few days. Haven't been easy on Anna. She's been sleeping a lot. But the good news? She hasn't injured the 'important' parts of her brain. She will recover normally. And will just have a few small scars on her forehead and on her left eye brow.
She smiled her goofy grin. She had her humor back. Which in all honesty doesn't surprise me at all.

I waddled back into her room. After talking with Marybeth and a few other nurses. And they decided that she can finally come today. "Anna. I have some exciting news!!!" I said. With a hint of Excitement to my tone. "Oh yeah? And what's that?" She asked. Sounding interested. "We can go home. And relax." Her face instantly lit up and then fell. "What about the kids? Where have they been? Is rain okay?" I stopped her before she could think/ worry anymore. "My mom decided to take them camping. So they'll be home whenever we are ready for them. And rain is fine. Mckalya hasn't tried to pick at anything since I slapped her." She just nodded laughing at the fact I slapped Mckalya. Haha. Yeah.
We got everything in the car. She looked at me. Smiling. She is  planning something. And I have to figure out what it is.
