"Anong plano mo sa Pasko?"
From my eyes scanning my notes, it drifted to Aid comfortably sitting on the couch while playing video games on his phone.
Muling bumaba ang tingin ko sa notebook. Honestly, I don't know.
Oh, I didn't notice.
Sighing, I diverted my gaze at him. "Ewan. Ikaw ba?"
Ramdam ko ang titig niya sa akin. I looked away. I don't want that stare. I don't want to be look at that way. Ayaw kong kinakaawaan ako.
"We are planning to celebrate Christmas abroad."
I smiled a little. But sadly, the things I want are the things I cannot have.
A happy family.
"Enjoy kayo," I answered before fixing my things and went back inside my room.
We became very busy as days passed by.
At least, I have something to do.
"Hoy! Saan kayo sa Pasko?"
I shrugged at Achi. "Ikaw ba? What are your plans?"
It sucks to be alone, and I want to be with her.
"Fortunately! Sa Subic ako magpa-Pasko!"
Ngumiti ako. "That's good. Ikaw lang mag-isa?"
She shook her head. "Kasama ko ang mga workers sa cafe. Grabe! Nakakaexcite!"
Good for her.
Well… I should be excited too! Yey! Marami akong time para magstudy.
My smile faded. Sino bang niloloko ko? But do I have a choice?
"I already packed my things, Mom." Aid was on the phone when I arrived. "Don't worry, okay? Sasama ako!"
When the call ended, he was surprised to see me.
"Nakakapagod talaga! Ang daming gagawin!" he exclaimed as he opened the engine of his car.
Tumango lang ako. "Saan kayo ngayong Pasko?"
His smile vanished as he smoothly drove the car out from the parking lot.
"Korea. Kayo? Wala bang plano sila Tito mag-abroad?"
My heart almost jumped when I saw it was Mom.
"Mom!" I happily exclaimed.
