"Okay! Good job, everyone! Break muna!"
That was my cue to put my smile on hold and walk over to the first empty chair to take a seat. Nakakapagod.
"Do you want something to eat, Ava? Pero 'yong light meal lang since sa beach naman tayo after dito," Gio told me.
I smiled and politely shook my head. "I'm good." "I'll answer this." Tumango siya bago umalis.
I sighed as I gazed at Aid's phone number, which continued ringing.
For a few moment, he was deafeningly quiet until I heard his muffled chuckle.
"What do you need? I am working."
"Talaga?
He's right and I hate it.
"Why did you call?" I asked for him to get on his point.
He cleared his throat several times, as if he was getting ready for something significant.
"D-Did I do something last night?"
My forehead creased. "What do you mean?"
"May nasabi ba ako?" he asked.
I smirked when something came up inside my mind.
"You did." I tried my hardest to keep my tone solemn.
"Really?
My grin grew wider. "And why would I tell you?"
"Sian naman!" he frustratedly groaned.
"Stop calling me, Aid. I was really surprised.
"Are you mad?" he asked.
Before I could answer his question, Gio called me for the continuation of the photo shoot.
"I need to go. Bye," I told him before ending the call.
I was so tired when we arrived at the hotel that I decided to skip dinner.
I massaged my jaw as it throbbed in pain.
Aid is calling so I answered it while wearing off my heels.
"What?" mahina kong tanong dahil sa pagod.
"Where are you?"
"Paris," I replied.
He laughed. "I know.
