Chapter 30

"Game day boys!" Are coach shouted running into the locker room. We all banged on the lockers and cheered for the game

"Let's get out there and let's beat some warrior asses! Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!" He yelled

We all stood up and started jumping up and down "Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose!" We screamed repeatedly

We then ran out of the locker room and out onto the field as we were running I saw my girlfriend on the side "Hi lovey" I said as I approached her. She wrapped her arms around me and I bent down to kiss her

"Do you have*tic* a rubber band?" I asked her "I broke mine putting*tic* on my damn pads" I said holding her waist rubbing my thumb along the exposed skin she had from wearing a crop top

She lifted her hands from around my neck and took the blue rubber band off her wrist and gave it to me. "Thank you Rain. I love you and I'll see you at halftime." I said giving her another kiss and patting her on the ass before running onto the field

I put my helmet on and stood next to my twin brother as I waited for the game to start

"3rd & goal for Riverside they need to get in field goal range to attempt a lead going into halftime"

"I see your girl in the stands over there number 15!" The defender in front of me taunted "Gonna be mine soon. All over this dick huh. Better than yours" he kept taunting

I started to pluck my rubber band as I started to tic out on the field "Please stop" I whispered to myself

"Tiger 5! Tiger 5! Down...set...set...hike!" Rex said I had a 1v1 on the kid I jabbed to the inside and got on the out quickly beating him up the sideline for the pass. I jumped up in the air and he swiped my legs form under me

I was flying head first into the ground and I couldn't stop it.

Once I hit, my ears started to ring loudly it took me a second to get up but I got up

"Targeting number 28, defense. This player is disqualified from the game. Touchdown" the ref announced there were a combination of cheers and boos as I still tried to gain my balance

"Bye bye number 15 I'll see you around" he yelled out

"I caught it?" I asked Kenson as he helped me to the sideline

"I guess so I wasn't paying attention. I was so fucking worried about you! How are you Knoxy?" He asked looking at my eyes through my helmet

"A little *tic* dizzy, but I'm ok" I said as the trainer took me to sit down to check for concussion protocol and to see if my spine was ok

Once the half was over Keni helped me to the locker room because my head was still spinning a little.

Rex cracked open a ammonia inhalant and gave me a few whiffs "We need you so wake the fuck up" he said. My eyes shot opened and I felt alive

I hopped up and placed my helmet only on the top of my head as I jogged out the locker room seeing my girlfriend waiting for me. She was wearing my letterman's jacket over her crop top now that it was getting later in the night

"Hey superstar how are you?" She asked rubbing the back of my neck. I winced and closed my eyes  "sorry"

I shook my head "It's just a *tic* bruise I'll be fine. Now, I gotta *tic* go win this game for my team and my girlfriend! *tic* When we win I hope I get a gift" I hinted kissing her hard and then jogging onto the field

"20-22 last play of the game for Riverside, down 2 .On the 43 yard line going for the touchdown. What does Coach Gray have up his sleeve for this Riverside offense?"
