Chapter 12

"Mr.Smith I've decided I'm going to *tic* join the tech team." I said as I came in before class. I'm surprised I'm the first one here there's like a minute before the bell.

"That's amazing Knoxley! I'm looking forward to it! We meet on Mondays and Thursdays after school, but once your finger is healed I know you'll have football so just make it when you can." He said clapping his hand on my shoulder. I nodded and proceeded to my seat. "Oh and Knoxley, I have this old computer and I was wondering during our class if you could make some type of robot or something like that. I mean of course you wouldn't finish it in one class, but a little challenge for a few classes while everyone else is learning." He said as he went to the closet pulling out this big ass computer and putting it all on my desk. Along with every tool know to man. "Is that a challenge *tic* Mr.Smith?" I said with a cocky smirk.

"Well how about if you can complete a functional working robot by two class periods I'll let you and a person of your chose from any class skip this period for two days." He said in a cocky tone like I wasn't going to finish this today. "Shake on *tic* it Mr.Teacher sir" He laughed and shook my hand. Right as we shook hands everyone started to file in and about thirty seconds later the bell rang.

The bell rang and I wasn't finished "Damnit." *tic* I said as I threw the screwdriver down on the table as everyone walked out. "How about this. Let's switch up the deal a little. If you can make a robot also with a controller by the end of tomorrow I'll keep that deal of you getting to skip. And before you ask yes you can take it with you." He said as he started helping me pack all the tools and pieces up so I could take it with me "Thank you sir! I *tic* won't let you down!" I said as we finished and I walked out of the classroom happy with what I get to do

"What the hell is all this?" Rainlee says as I walk up to her with my hands full of computer parts. "Mr.Smith is making me do a project and if I finish it by tomorrow I can skip for two days with a person of my choice/you." I said right before I kissed her. "Come on dork I'm sure everyone is waiting for us. Oh yeah! And Robin is sitting with us." I shook my head in understanding. I had totally forgotten about that.

"Hey lovers! What the hell is all that?" Rex says as we sit down and I dump it all onto the lunch table "A computer" I say nonchalantly "And why do you have it?" He ask again "What is with all *tic* the questions Rex it's a damn computer I have to build *tic* a robot for computer science."

He looked at me confused "I take computer science 1st period. We're not making robots. Shit if we do I'm screwed. I know nothing about them fuckers." I rolled my eyes at him "It's a special project *tic* because I already know all the materials and the school won't let me go *tic* to a more advanced class. Mr.Smith is teaching me advanced classes on the DL." I say as he 'oh's' in understanding.

"Hi sissy. Let me guess...you're making a robot?" He said pointing at all the pieces and tools in my hand as I work I give him a thumbs up and return to what I'm working on. "How'd you know that." Dax says as he sits down along side Kenson "Oh please she's my twin. She's been taking apart my remote control cars since we were baby's and making them go like ten miles per hour. Mom used to take her tools away because it was 'too dangerous'" he said with a scoff "Knoxley is literally a genius." He said hyping me up.

"A genius huh?" Robin said as she sat down. I looked up and gave her a warm smile "Hey Robin! Guys this is Robin, a new friend of ours." Everyone waves with smiles and says hello. I'm glad all these big "tough" guys are being accepting of her. "What are you working on Knoxley?" Robin ask me. "A robot for computer science." Robin looks at me dumbfounded "Woah that's so impressive! I could never. I'm in computer science and I have a C+" she says as she puts her elbow on the table leaning onto it "I could always *tic* help you if you have any questions." I tell her as I don't even look up from my work. "That would be amazing thank you!" I nodded my head signaling a no problem.

"Baby, could you hand me the flat head?" She looked at me so lost. "The only head I know is a helmet head" Did she really just say that?

Everybody at the table choked and looked at her. "You did not just say that?!" I said laughing at her bringing my attention to her. Everybody else tried to shake it off and go back to their business

"What it's the truth. Well I also know a regular head too buuuut I figured everyone knows that, so go with the other logical answer." She said with a 'innocent' smile. "Yeah right...*tic* this is a flat head screwdriver" putting a emphasis on the word screwdriver as I picked it up and showed it to her "You learn something new everyday huh?" I laughed "Yeah like how freaky you are" I say in a mumble "Shut up. I know you think it's sexy" she says as she leans on my shoulder "Gross" Rexon says under his breath making Kenson shove him with an eye roll. What's that all about?

It's almost the end of lunch and I'm slowly packing my equipment and slowly still working on my robot. "Oh look it's the whore. She's sitting with the freak and the freaks girlfriend. Damn Knox, really trying to have a threesome I see"  James says as he sits in between Robin and I "Leave me alone James" I say as I don't even look up from my work. "Look at me when I talk to you freak!" He says as he takes my remote out of my hands and snaps it in two. " You asshole!" Kenson says as he stands up. I gave him a look to calm down. I don't like when he fights my battles for me. Even with a broken finger I'll fuck him up.

I clench my jaw and stare at James with no emotion. "Her name is not whore, it's Robin. She's not a whore at all. Who I sleep with is none of your *tic* business. And I feel dumber when I have to look at you when you speak. Leave me and my friends, especially Robin, The fuck. Alone." I said as I snatched my broken controller and got up from the table. "Let's go guys." I said as I purposely bumped into James's shoulder.

"That was badass" Dax says and everyone agrees. "I'm not even fazed by the fight. I'm fazed by how the fuck you got basically a whole computer into your bag." Rainlee says to me in disbelief "I don't really know" I said in a annoyed tone as I looked down at my snapped controller. "It's going to be ok baby. You'll make a new one just as amazing" she said as she wrapped her arm around my waist. I don't know how I can make a new controller out of a different part of the computer. This was the only way I knew...I'm fucked
