Fury had recruited Flora and moved her to D.C. temporarily to help with missions. Here she became closer to the famous Captain America. Flora was starting to think Fury liked to use her a lot because she's blind, easier to do things by tricking people.
Around seven in the morning she always took a walk down the street from her apartment with her cane and red tinted glasses. She always stops at a small donut shop, the owners knew her by name and knew her order. It was hard leaving her beloved city...but she's met amazing people here.
"Flora! The usual?" Scarlett, the owner asks.
Her husband Robert steps out from the back with a smile. "Hi Flora."
"How are you guys? My usual please." Flora nods.
"We are great now that you are here!" Scarlett smiles and rings up the donut and coffee. "That's three-fifty."
Flora grabs her wallet from her coat pocket and digs out her last bill. "Is this a twenty?"
"Sure is."
She then grabs two quarters from her other pocket and hands her the money. "Thank you. Keep the change." Flora smiles.
"Thank you honey, you have a wonderful day."
"Here take a couple boxes of cookies. On the house." Robert gently grabs her hand and hands her a bag. These were their famous and expensive cookies. Flora only bought one awhile ago.
"Thank you! Have a great day guys. I'll see you tomorrow!" She smiles and uses her cane to find the door.
She stops at the curb and tilts her head as her hearing picks up a car going way too fast. It suddenly stops in front of her. "Get in." Natasha yells.
"Mission?"
"Yup." Steve sighs as she gets in the back.
"Cookies." Flora takes out one of the boxes and hands it to them, then eating her donut.
"You are the best Flora." Natasha smiles.
Thanks to Stark, Flora had a new upgraded red suit that went well with her name and kept her identity hidden from the public.

Natasha had pulled Flora aside and told her about the mission the two of them would be doing without the others. They then got on the Jet. She stood beside Steve as Rumlow went over the mission. Flora tried to stay away from Rumlow because of how weird and creepy he was towards her. Steve could sense this and always guarded her.
"The target is a mobile satellite launch platform: The Lemurian Star. They were sending up their last payload when pirates took them, 93 minutes ago."
