"Dis wah I mean! You're rarely here anymore!" Reign screamed at Yae'Shawn as they fussed on FaceTime.

Had she known that she'd be a single mother, she would have never given Yae'Shawn a baby. She was tired of him using basketball as an excuse for being a damn deadbeat husband. Most of the time that she thought they were in-season, they were off but just traveling and that struck multiple nerves in Reign. It was about communication. Honesty. Trust but Yae'Shawn was showing her otherwise.

She understood basketball was a busy sport/career and time-consuming, but damn, even LeBron made time for his family. Reign and Kaari spent time being mothers and binged-watched every season of Basketball Wives and Reign began to regret it. Because she was always paranoid and wondering if Yae'Shawn was sleeping around or living a double life. He was her husband. Neela's father, but barely acted like it.

Hell, at least Tamir was a damn good father and husband to Kaari. Even Daewon made sure to check on Reign and his Goddaughter but Yae'Shawn... Reign was confused.

Nobody other than Kaari knew what was going on because whenever the guys were in town, Reign and he seemed like the perfect family but deep down she was losing her mind. Her sanity. Battling depression. Paranoia. Postpartum. Everything that you could think of, she had it.

She's asked Yae'Shawn for years to take a year off and stay home but that damn man wasn't for it. The guys tried to talk to him and hated that they were caught in the middle of the chaos. Yae'Shawn was basking in their recent fame after winning the finals. But Reign didn't give a damn about that. She was tired of feeling like a single mother when she had a damn husband. She wanted to work. She wanted to go out again.

She wanted to be around her family without pretending to be happy when she desperately needed help. She knew she couldn't always ask her parents to watch Neela just so she could cry her eyes out at home. They had a life and were doing well for the family. That's why she was juggling Neela around with everyone. She knew it was wrong but she needed a break.

She was mentally and physically exhausted.

"Des, you know I'm there for you."

"Really?!" She stared at him completely disgusted, "I am soooo tired of yuh, I swear to Jesus!"

"Watch it."

"Bwoy, fuck you!" Ending the call, she powered her phone off and tossed it on the floor.

Kaari knocked on the door before entering, "Sis?"

"I'm so tired of this! I hate it!" She cried.

Kaari's eyes misted. She hated this. She hated how Shawn had been acting over the years. She prayed that he would grow out of it eventually but nope. When they were home, he spent all his time with Neela or would go to the gym. Forgetting that he even had a damn wife. Kaari was watching her sister lose herself day by day and she wanted to tell her parents so bad but couldn't take betraying Reign's wishes.

But her damn brother-in-law, Kaari thought about setting his dick on fire while he slept. She thought about running him over so he'd stay home. She also thought about poisoning him but she was a changed person. But damn man, her sister was hurting. She was done with her evil stage but as the days went on, she was tempted to go back just to knock some damn sense into her brother-in-law. Maybe a good beatdown would do him some justice, who knew?

"Wah did he seh dis time?" Kaari asked, wrapping her arms around Reign.

"Same shit!"
