After the brunch with the ladies, Ava pulled Michelle to the side and apologized for how things turned out with Camille. Michelle didn't mind it or care if she were being honest. Not everyone in the world was going to like you and for whatever reason Camille decided to have beef with her, that was on Camille. She would admit that she should have kept her question to herself but she wanted to know. Camille was lighter than Lucky, that was obvious and she didn't favor him as much but the question should have stayed to herself; she realized that.

But if she had to admit, Camille didn't seem as if she liked her from the jump. Michelle knew a hater when she met one and from her standpoint, Camille was hating on her for whatever reason. As long as she stayed on her side, Michelle would stay on hers. Whereas she was more than just a pretty face, she'd let her actions be the judge.

Assyria ended up following Ava and Camille back to the beach house. Since Lucky was still out with Kairo and Zaire, Ava decided to take a nap with Ace right beside her while Assyria and Camille got to know one another better.

That was a day ago, it was September the 1st, the day that Camille was set to leave and she was dreading it. But she had worn her welcome out and tore Lucky's nerves up. He loved his little sister but she was a lot to handle. Visiting was different than her trying to stay longer than intended. He didn't how many times Ava told him that she didn't mind, he had a problem with it and wanted their home to feel like home again.

While Lucky was gladly helping Camille get ready to leave, Assyria and Essence were hanging out in Zaire's backyard.

"Does it suck being an only child?" Assyria asked Essence as she placed her Amethyst stone next to the Howlite.

"Not really, I got to get whatever I wanted if my parents were okay with it," she shrugged, staring at the strawberry quartz stone. "What are you doing?"

"Recharging 'em."

Confused but curious, Essence leaned forward and watched as Assyria placed a few more stones on the concrete from biggest to smallest. "Help me understand this whole... one with the Universe thing, how exactly does this work?"

"Well, some people recharge or cleanse their crystals once a month or weekly, depending on how things have gone and tha' stones they used. I like to recharge mine every two weeks, with sunlight and moonlight. Sometimes I just place a few in a sea salt bath and play something harmonizing."

Essence continued staring at the stones then pointed to the greenish-blue one, "What is that?"

"Amazonite... some call it an Amazonstone... dis might be my favorite 'cause it's cute."

Essence pursed her lips momentarily, "What is it supposed to do?"

Assyria smirked, "Keeps away negative energy and brings in calmness and clarity... tha' simple stuff."

Essence hummed to herself then leaned back, "Does it actually work?"

Assyria shrugged, "I can only answer for me... they all work in different ways for me."

"You be vibrating or something?"

Assyria busted out laughing, "Really?!"

Essence chuckled, "I mean... say they do work or have powers wouldn't you be all overwhelmed or something for having all those at once?"

"Technically I only keep three on me and place the others around tha' house."

"Oh... what about your friend? What's his name again? Zay... Zaire? Is he okay with this?"

Assyria squinted at her, "Why are you asking as if I'm hiding drugs?" She chuckled.

"I've been in your space enough to notice that your energy is a bit overwhelming."
