They say that sometimes it takes a casualty or chaos to bring a person or multiple people together to appreciate the little things in life. For the Stone family, it seemed as if almost losing the baby of the group gave them all a wake-up call. There was a bit of moments when it seemed as if some would fold under pressure, but with the proper support, anyone can make it out of the darkness.

It was June the 6th, the official first day of the family getaway. Ava and Michelle's friendship was on thin ice. Michelle didn't need anyone to tell her who killed her father once the officers showed up at her door with a flag that she declined to take. She knew King killed him. She was conflicted because he was her father but also relieved in a way because he was out of her life.

But Ava gave her a warning years ago that she would take it there with her if Murphy tried anything. Since she was pregnant and knew Lucky would chew her up, she said what she could over the phone and left it at that until further notice.

The adults decided to have chefs come around during the mornings and afternoon to prepare breakfast and dinner. Usually, the women and men would take turns, but King decided to do something different. After all, this was supposed to be a vacation, which meant everyone should have downtime. While King was still in recovery from the shooting, he still found himself doing things as he normally would.

Outside of Yae'Shawn since he was still in rehab, 2/3 of The Goonies had got in early around 6 am, after King had to pull Lucky to the side and set some rules. He understood why Lucky did what he did and also understood why he had beef with the trio, but as the OG as everyone considered, they were still part of the family, although Daewon wasn't married into the family. King decided to leave his beef at bay but it didn't mean he would trust Daewon the way he used to.

Leah and Adonis were supposed to attend but forgot that they booked a vacation in Paris. Bryson was invited as well, being that Renae wanted Laiya to come but since Lucy wouldn't allow her to miss any days of school, Bryson decided to stay home. Renae knew where it came from and didn't have the energy to cuss out her little sister's mother. Lucy wanted to still be included in things involving the family and although Renae understood, she didn't have the energy for it. She ruined that chance by trying to force her to make up with Eve.

So on the family vacation, there were The Stones and the little ones, The Davidsons, Capris, 2/3 of The Goonies, Lucky, and even Ace. Kwan invited Dominque as did Renae but she sadly had to decline being that she booked appointments with her regular dental patients three weeks in advance. Yonas and Kelly were also invited but the family wasn't sure if they would show up. But Yonas did tell King that if they didn't make it the first week, they would definitely be there before the vacation was over.

An invite was extended to Karen but since Reign currently wasn't speaking to Yae'Shawn's grandparents or mom, she decided not to show up, which was a bit weird for Renae.

While Ary and Renae were enjoying the amazing breakfast and pastries that the chefs cooked, the twins were cooped up in an extra room on the west wing of the villa going through old dance routines. Ava ended up falling asleep in the living room with a half-empty bowl of strawberries in front of her.

Assyria had taken her meds after breakfast and decided to join Dante and Zaire by the pool. Kairo was enjoying the sun, reading one of Renae's books as if he hadn't read all of them hundreds of times already.

Daewon and Tamir decided to keep their distance from Lucky for the first couple of days, so they decided to stay inside and enjoy the ac while they watched the little ones. King, Dajon, and Kwan were walking around the private area, and Lucky was down in the gym working out with Ace by his side per usual. And also trying to make sure he didn't lose it on anyone. There was just simply too many people under the same roof and isolation was the best thing for everyone.
