Jets of red and green from various wands were being shot in all different directions. Lina looked around the chamber in the department of mysteries with the great veil she heard voices coming from when they had come across the room earlier that night. For the most part the order seemed to be winning against the Death Eaters.Lina after dodging another spell, she looked to see who it had come from, Bellatrix of course. The two locked in a ferocious duel, the only focus that had on each other, Lina moved backwards light on her feet as she blocked and dodged her deranged cousins spells. The look was clear in her eyes, Bellatrix was duelling to kill, Lina was duelling to stay alive.
But everything Lina was throwing at Bellatrix, every spell she could think of was not enough.
It happened so suddenly, the whole world seemed to go into slow motion. Lina being hit in the side by a spell from Luciius throwing her off balance and dropping her wand, Bellatrix screaming in rage at the disruption and before Lina could summon her wand back to her one spell rang echoed off the walls of the chamber making everyone's blood run cold.
"Avada Kedavra!"
But before the spell could hit her, another spell did, a fraction of a second before sending her flying back, straight into the mysterious veil where the voices of the dead could be heard.
Lina flung her hand out in front of her, hoping, though impossible as it was, that somewhere would catch onto her hand and pull her back.
But no one did.
The last thing she saw before being consumed with darkness was the worried eyes of her father. The ones that were identical to her own.

Lina felt groggy but the bed she was in was soft and warm. She heard voices around her, though she couldn't make out what they were saying instead she thought back to how she ended up in the nice bed.
What was the last thing she remembered? Her exams....Harry saying Sirius had been kidnapped by Voldemort....Umbridge...them going to the Ministry....the department of mysteries...holy Hufflepuff! The fight with Bellatrix...she...she fell through the veil.
She shot up, her eyes snapping open, she breathing quickened as she looked frantically around the room where she was. She relaxed when she saw where she was, the hospital wing at Hogwarts, she was safe she but how did she get back and where was everyone else?
In front of her bed, Professor McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey stood, they were a couple of foot away from the bed, looking at Lina was deep suspicion and uncertainty, they were looking at her like she was a stranger.
The more she came to her senses though the more she realised something was very very wrong.
McGonall, was younger, not by much, but enough that Lina could tell, as was Madam Pomfrey. The bed sheets used on the different hospital beds were different too, the style was older as was the clothes the Professors were wearing.
"You're awake" McGonagall said with a cold disposition, unlike the warmth almost motherly way McGonagall normally spoke to her like.
"Where am I?" Lina asked, pushing herself back up the bed "is this some kind of trick" or maybe she was dreaming, she subtly pinched her skin hard and flinched at the pain that shot up her arm, okay so definitely not dreaming. Of course she wouldn't that would be the easy explanation.
"A trick?" Madam Pomfrey said "I'm sure if anyone is tricking anyone it would be you to us."
"Now Poppy" McGonagall said "we-"
