I woke up the next morning in Ponyboy's arms. I looked over and saw he was asleep with the book we were reading last night on his chest. Must've fallen asleep while reading it. I closed my eyes again and enjoyed Pony's warmth.

But only a few seconds after closing my eyes back, Soda runs in the room screaming, and belly flopped onto the bed. The bed shook, and Pony and I jolted up.

"C'mon, Soda, it's too early for this." Pony grumbled.

"Darry made breakfast." He gushed with a huge smile. "Besides, y'all gotta get up for school anyways."

Soda then ran back out the bedroom door, still shouting, but it was too early in the morning for me to make out what he was yelling about. I'd forgotten it was Monday.

"Well, good morning, Livi." Pony sighed, annoyed from being woken up by Soda.

"Morning to you too, Pony." I laughed.

I dragged myself out of bed, and got dressed for school. A pair of worn out jeans, white t shirt, and one of Johnnys old leather jackets. I straightened up my a hair a little while Ponyboy got ready.

We walked into the kitchen to the fresh smell of pancakes Darry had prepared. We quickly ate so we could leave in time for school.

"Y'all gotta hurry on now." Warned Darry.

We grabbed our backpacks and made it out the door.

The walk to school was nice. A warm breeze and the sun already shining. Pony and I talked about our class work, Robert Frost poems, the movie we watched yesterday; that sort of thing.

Finally we reached the school. We met Johnny out front who had been driven by Two-Bit.

"Hey Taffy." Johnny greeted me with a warm smile and a quick hug.

"Were things alright last night?"

I asked. I felt bad leaving him while staying with Pony. I do it a lot and always feel terrible.

"Yeah, folks weren't home, so I went ahead and stayed at the house for the night." I was relieved. "How'd you sleep?"

"Pretty good." I replied.

The first bell rang, so we headed to class. I only had a few classes with Pony and Johnny, but those were later in the day. As I was doing my work in my first class, there was an announcement today would be a half day due to a crazy storm later. I was pretty excited.

Finally, english rolled around. Probably my favorite class and I have it with Ponyboy. I took my seat next to him once I arrived.

"Hey Taffy." He smirked. I snickered and playfully elbowed him.

The class grew quiet once the late bell rang. The teacher stood up from her desk and began to explain what we were doing.

"We are going to be starting a project. You will be turning a book into a movie poster. I expect creativity and originality. You may also work with a partner, or alone, whatever you prefer."
Pony and I glanced at each other with a smirk. "You won't have much time today seen as it is a half day and classes are shortened, but you will have a few class days to work on this. And with that, you can get started." She finished.

"So what book should we do?" Pony asked. "It's gotta be one without a movie."

"This should be easy for us as much as we read." I laughed. I thought for a moment.

"How about Daisy Jones and the six? Your favorite book." Pony smiled. "I remember you saying how you wished there was a movie."

"I do wish there was a movie." I laughed. "Sounds good, if that's what you want to do too."
