פרק 8: וויל

"אז רק בשביל לראות שהבנתי, אתם נפרדתם, נכון?" שאלתי את ריבר וליילה. ישבנו בפארק הציבורי שהיה באזור.

"כן." ריבר השיב. לא היה נראה שזה הפריע לו יותר מידי.

"וזה בסדר מצדך?" הפניתי את השאלה לליילה.

"קודם כל, אני זאת שעודדה אותו לספר לך על מה שהוא מרגיש כלפיך, ודבר שני, למה זה אמור להפריע לי? אנחנו כבר לא ביחד." היא משכה בכתפיה.

כשריבר סיפר לי שליילה והוא נפרדו, הייתי חייב לוודא שזה נכון, בעיקר כדי להרגיע את עצמי.

הימים האחרונים היו מעט מוזרים, לפחות מבחינתי. עדיין לא עיכלתי את העובדה שאני בזוגיות, ועוד עם בן.

ריבר אני סיכמנו בנינו שהזוגיות שלנו תישמר בסוד מפני כולם, חוץ מליילה שכבר ידעה על זה. היא גם עזרה לנו לא מעט בכל מה שקשור לדייטים.

"תגיד, זה באמת בסדר מצידך?" ריבר שאל אותי פתאום. ישבנו בחדר שלי בלי לעשות כלום.

"מה?" שאלתי, מנסה להבין על מה הוא מדבר.

"שאנחנו מסתירים את כל העניין?" ריבר הביט בי.

"כן, למה?" החזרתי בשאלה.
