Ch.3 School

Monday. All Mondays suck. But this one was especially bad. Because today marked the first day I would attend Linden High School. I slowly stretched out of bed to start getting ready for school. I wanted to give a good impression on my first day so I decided to dress a bit nicer. I walked to my closet to find the perfect outfit for the day. I decided on white skinny jeans that stopped right above my ankles, a light pink tank top, a tan cardigan, and light pink Keds to match my top. I straightened my hair and curled the ends.
I quickly put on some light makeup and walked downstairs to eat my breakfast.

"Tess hurry up we're going to miss the bus!" I heard Nick yell from the front door. I gave my mom and Hadley a quick hug and kiss on the cheek. "Have a good day honey!" ,
My mom yelled while I nearly stumbled out the door.

I sat down on the crowded bus next to Nick. I think he could tell I was a bit nervous because he said, "calm down. It's fine." I thanked him. After what seemed like forever we pulled into the school parking lot. The school was huge!!! I looked around and saw hundreds of kids on campus. We all stepped off the bus and Nick and I made our way to the doors. We tried getting someone's attention for directions to the front office. I was thankful that no one had noticed who I was so far. I saw Nick talking
to what looked like a student. Walking up to stand next to Nick, I listened to what the guy was saying.

"Go down this hall and make a sharp left and the office should be on the right," said the student.
"Ok thanks so much..." Nick trailed off.
"Oh I'm Ethan and it was no problem." Ethan replied.
"Oh Ethan this is my little sister Tessa, she's a sophomore. Tessa this is Ethan." Nick introduced me to the guy.
"Hi!" I politely said to him.
"We have to go get our schedules now so we'll see you around Ethan." Nick said
"K see you guys around." Ethan said before disappearing into the crowd of students.
'I think I might like it here!' I thought to myself.
