(tessa POV)
"Who's 'Main Manager'?" Meghan asked with a very confused look. 'CRAP!'
"umm. I work for my dad's company sometimes so his manager calls me for things." I lied. I hated lying, but I had to protect my identity. Maybe I would tell Meghan the truth someday, but now is not the time.
"Oh ok that's cool. Do you get paid?" she asked.
"Ya but not a lot. My dad just wants the extra help." I lied again.
(meghan POV)
At first I thought it was a little suspicious. But then I remembered that one of my friends worked for her dad in the summer so it's not all that weird. I smiled and forgot about it.
"Oh I have to go. My mom just said she needed me to babysit my little sister." I heard Tessa say.
"Aww ok. Thanks for coming over, I had so much fun!" I said kinda disappointed but I totally understood.
(Tessa POV)
As soon as I got back home, I put Hadley to bed because my mom actually did need me to babysit her. I went into my room, sat at my desk, and called my manager back. My manager's name is Jamie. She's only like 25 so she's pretty chill and understanding.
She answered after about 3 rings.
Jamie: Hey Tessa! How is everything?
Tessa: It's good.
Jamie: Have you made any new friends yet?
Tessa: Ya, I made a few.
Jamie: That's good, anyways you are probably wondering why I was calling so lemme cut to the chase... We want you to fly out to Orlando this weekend to do a concert and a small meet and greet for your fans!
Tessa:.... Uhhhh ok. When would I have to leave for Florida?
Jamie: I would say Friday at the latest.
Tessa: Ok
Jamie: I will email your mom the rest of the details. I have to go now sweetie but I want to hear all about your new school and your new friends when I see you next! Bye. See you later!
Tessa:Hahah bye Jamie. Thanks for everything!
