Tessa's (POV)

Beep. Beep. Beep. Ugh I hate alarm clocks!! And it's Monday... great. I laid in bed for a couple of minutes dreading going to school. But one simple name dawned on me when the morning fog cleared out of my head.
Grayson. This time it meant something different to me. He was my boyfriend, and with that thought, I couldn't be more happy to go to school today. I smiled uncontrollably while getting out of bed. I can't wait to see his face.

Nick was jamming out to Drake when I turned it off.

"What the hell? I was listening to that!" Nick whined.

"You know I hate rap." I stated, putting on some 5 Seconds of Summer and giving Nick an evil smirk.

"No!" Nick exclaimed when She's Kinda Hot came on.

"MY GIRLFRIEND'S BITCHIN CAUSE I ALWAYS SLEEP IN" I sung at the top of my lungs as Nick continued to complain about my song choice.

"My car. My music." I heard Nick mutter under his breath.

My attention was pulled away when I got a text message.

Gray😍: morning babe😙hope u slept well... See u soon😉

Me: thanks gray!😚see u

"Why are you smiling?" Nick asked, glancing between the road and I.

"It's nothing" I lied. I didn't want Nick to find out just yet. He would just go all overprotective big brother on me. He gave me a questioning look but shook it off and put his attention back on the road.

Grayson (POV)

I had already gotten my books and was waiting by my beautiful girlfriend's locker. It's so weird to call her that. I looked up from my phone to see her walking my way with a gorgeous smile on her face. Once she was directly in front of me, I snaked my arms around her waist and gave her a gentle kiss. Immediately, the loud chatter stopped and the hall was silent as a library. I pulled away from the kiss and saw hundreds of pairs of eyes staring right at us. I awkwardly cleared my throat and everybody went back to their own business, this time whispering and glancing back at us.

"Well that was awkward." Tessa chuckled, embarrassed.

She slightly blushed while I kissed her cheek quickly.

"Okay missy, you need to get your books for class." I said, giving her a stern but goofy look.

"Well okay Mr. Dolan. As you wish." she replied opening her locker while bashing her eyelashes at me.

*after Chem class*

Tessa (POV)

tessa: Meet me in the library before lunch!!!

meghan: okay! hahah

tessa: 😊

I was now in math class. Wait, let me rephrase that. I was now in math class, starving, waiting for lunch to come. And I really wanted to meet up with Meghan to tell her about Grayson and I. But my stupid math teacher is taking forever to hand out the homework. So I decided to speed things along.

"Mrs. Hern? May I use the restroom?" I asked, raising my hand.

"Yes. Please be back quickly." she replied nodding at me.

I quickly exited the classroom pulling out my phone to text Meghan.

tessa: I have to tell u now, can't wait any longer. meet me in the library in 2 min.

I waited for meghan to reply as I walked down the hallway to the library. That's when I heard Abbey's loud and not to mention annoying giggle.
I turned my head to see what was going on and saw her pressed against a locker with a guy all over her.
I rolled my eyes thinking of how much of a slut she was, jumping from one guy to the next. But a loud bing pulled me away from my thoughts.

meghan: in the library. where r u?

tessa: be there in 10 seconds.

"Where were you?" Meghan asked whispering.

"Sorry. I got distracted." I replied thinking of Abbey and her daily boy toy.

"So what did you want to tell me? Oh, what the hell is up with you and Grayson?" she said all in like 5 seconds.

"What?! How do you know?" I asked forgetting to whisper.

"You'll be surprised at how quickly things spread around here." Meghan said with a smirk.

Grayson (POV)

I wonder where Tessa is. I've been waiting for her by Nick's car for like 10 minutes. I wanted to say goodbye to her before she went home. I saw Nick waking my way and he looked like he wanted to talk to me.

"Hi Nick!" I smiled, waving at him.

"Hey." He simply nodded, "So, Grayson, I hear your dating my baby sister?" He uttered, giving me an unhappy look.

"Um, yeah!" I quietly spoke, looking down to avoid his harsh stare.

"Just how do you plan on treating her?" He questioned, still not giving up on staring me down. Man this guy is freaking me out!

"Uh, I plan on treating her like the most important person in the world. I'll be there to let her cry on my shoulder while I keep her safe in my arms. She'll never be lonely or upset as long as I have a say in the matter. And no matter what, I will try my hardest to keep that stunning smile across her face." I rambled, as I smiled from ear to ear. I looked up to see nick beaming at the affection I had towards his sister.

"Dude you are whipped. I'm glad Tessa has someone like you. I know you'll treat her right." Nick said laughing. "But I swear to God Grayson, if you hurt her even a little bit you'll get your ass kicked so hard that you won't be able to poop for the rest of your life! You understand?" He spat, his smile turning into a frown.

"Of course! I-I wouldn't d-dream of it!" I stuttered, truly terrified.

"Good." He grinned. "See you around man!" He shouted as Tessa came up and hugged me good bye. I stood there in shock as I let his words sink into me. I better not screw this relationship up!
