Ch.9 Showtime

(Tessa POV)
Our plane landed at 10:00 pm. My mom and I took a taxi to the hotel Jamie had booked us once we had found our luggage. Right when we opened the door of the hotel room, I flopped onto one of the two queen sized beds. I was completely exhausted. I took a quick shower and changed into some comfy pajama shorts and a big t-shirt. I hopped into bed, checked Instagram, followed a couple fans on twitter, then shut off my phone and fell asleep.
*saturday morning*
I woke up to someone shaking me.
"Honey wake up. Your concert is in a couple hours." I heard my mom say as I began to fully wake up.
Thinking of my amazing fans, I hopped out of bed. I went to the huge bathroom and took another shower to make sure I didn't smell during my concert. I let the water warm up, then stepped in, letting the water run all over my body taking away some of the stress on my shoulders. I sang a couple of my songs to warm up my voice. After my somewhat fast shower, I hopped out and wrapped a big fluffy towel around me. I made my way to my suitcase and put on a cute outfit for the concert and did my makeup flawlessly if I may say so. I decided to keep it simple and straighten my hair and put it in a cute half-up. After about an hour and a half of getting ready, I was finally finished with everything.

I got to the concert and their were already hundreds of screaming fans outside the door. I wasn't the only act performing today. Shawn, and some other famous singers were gonna be singing too. I was starting to get a bit nervous like always.

"Shawn!!!" I yelled over to the boy who made all this possible.
"Tessa!! Oh my gosh it's been forever! How are you?" He asked hugging me.
"I've been good. I wrote a couple of new songs." I replied.
"That's awesome! I heard you moved again. I hope everything is going good for you." Shawn said with a smile.
"Yep. So far everything's been really good." I said.
"I'm really happy for you!"
"Thanks Shawn. I can't wait to sing with you today!" I said getting excited.
"Me too! I better get ready but I'll see you out there! Bye."
"Bye Shawn." I wished him good luck.

I stood on the edge of the stage just barely out of sight of the crowd. I was on next after Fifth Harmony. i walked on stage and immediately the crowd erupted in cheers and screams. I walked to the middle of the stage where the microphone was and gave a quick little wave to the audience. I sat down and started strumming my guitar. I played a few of my own songs and then a cover of style by Taylor Swift. Shawn joined me on stage and we sang a couple duets then I said goodbye and exited off the stage, leaving Shawn to sing on his own. It was such a high coming off the stage. It was literally the best feeling in the world!

The concert lasted a couple more hours and then followed the meet and greet. I was amazed at how many people showed up to support me and everyone else. I signed posters and took pictures with so many fans I started to lose count. All of a sudden a girl came up to me with a look of pure joy on her face.
"OMG!!!! YOU'RE TESSA PETERSON! OMG I LOVE YOU!!! YOU'RE LIKE MY INSPIRATION I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE HOW YOU JUST SUDDENLY BECAME SO FAMOUS AND YOU JUST MAKE ME FEEL SO INSPIRED!" She fangirled.
"Hahah thanks!! I'm so glad I have the opportunity to meet such a supportive fan like you! What's your name?" I asked her.
"Oh my name's Julie. I live here in Orlando and I'm 15 years old." she said calming down a bit. But still speaking really fast.
We talked for a while longer and I signed her poster, phonecase, and her hat. I was sad to have to say good bye but I had to move on to other fans. I signed so much stuff that my hand was literally cramping. I had had a long day so I was relieved to finally be able to go back to the hotel. not that I hadn't had any fun or anything but I was just wiped out from a full day. I got in and took off my makeup and changed into my pajamas. since we had a mid afternoon flight I decided to just get my bag ready. After packing up, I instantly fell asleep thinking of all my incredible fans who showed up today and supported me. I love each and everyone of them. I couldn't be more thankful for fans like them. I was glad i didn't have to lie at all this weekend about who I was. thank God
