ch.26 club going up on a tuesday

Nick's (POV)

When I got home from school, I went straight to my room to start my homework. I know. I know. What a nerd right? But to be honest I don't mind school, so I try to do my best.

I was about done with physics, when Brooks walked in my room looking down at his phone.

"So uh dude what are we doing tonight?" he asked with a very low voice. I looked up at him confused. What could we possibly do on a Tuesday?

Closing my book, I said, "What do you mean? It's a school night for me and Tessa." He looked at me like I was some sort of an idiot. I gave him a "what" glance.

"Dude, in Cali, I went out all the time with Austin and our friends. I'm talking like going out, then not coming home till morning!" he examined.

Right after he said that I imagined him passed out in the front yard of a frat house. Brooks was literlly crazy, I thought to myself.

"Well maybe Tessa, me, Austin, you, Kylie and Meghan can go out for some pizza and go bowling or something." I said, trying not to get arrested while I was in highschool.

"But dude that's like so boring! C' mon man, we're going to a place that I call wasted-ville!" Brooks exclaimed stupidly. I shook my head like this was a crazy idea. But hey, when Brooks wants to do something, he's doing it.

Tessa's (POV)

I texted meghan that we would pick her up in 10 minutes. Appearently Brooks had planned an "exciting'' evening for all of us. I was sitting on my couch watching TV when Austin thumped downstairs. "Listen I think I'm going to skip tonight and just relax. I'm not up to one of Brooks's nights." he said while leaning against the staircase.

I turned to him with a confused look. "Is this about Grayson because he's not coming tonight." I said getting off the couch.

"I know. I'm just not feeling it tonight." he replied while looking down.

"Aw okay. Maybe next time." I said trying to be joyful. He walked up stairs while Nick and Brooks walked past him.

"Austin not coming?" Nick asked once he heard the door close upstairs.

"Nope. He's just chilling tonight. We better get going if we're gonna pick Meghan up at 8:00." I said grabbing my jacket and heading to the car.

"Okay. Just let me tell mom we're leaving." said Nick heading to her room.

*In the car*

Everyone was pretty anxious about finding out what Brooks had planned.

I looked at Nick who seemed a bit nervous. "Hey Nick where did you tell mom we were headed?" I asked looking at him.

He turned to me saying, "That we were going bowling." He turned away and cranked up the radio. I sang along to Maroon 5 when Brooks changed the station.

"Listen. If we are going to a club, we are most definitely not listening to this shit." said Brooks. Then Trap Queen started blaring out of the speakers. Everyone stared at Brooks.

"WE'RE GOING TO A CLUB?" Meghan and I screamed. Boy were we excited!!!!
