(Tessa's POV)
I sat down on Meghan's bed while thoughts raced through my mind. How am I going to tell her my BIG secret? Where do I even start. Meghan sat across from me on her bed and looked at me straight in the eye. She really was a good friend. The closet friend I've had since Phoebe who was practically my sister so that's saying a lot.That's when I decided to spill.
"Okay. so you know how so many people say 'I 'look so familiar?' I asked.
"Ya?" Meghan said with a hint of question in her faint voice.
"I'm really not just an ordinary girl who moved to New Jersey. I'm actually world wide known.'' I said with a nervous expression.
"Haha. You mean like your famous?" Meg asked. She scooted closer to me.
"Well ya, you can put it that way." I said, leading into a long pause adding a slight chuckle.
"Here watch." I said while opening her laptop. I logged into my YouTube account and played a cover that I sang with Shawn a couple months ago. I watched Meghan's face the whole entire time.
'Gosh! I hope I didn't mess things up with her!!' She practically was one of the only friends I had besides Grayson and Ethan but I didn't even know them all that well. The video finally ended when she turned to me with a clumsy look on her face.
"OH MY GOSH! THAT'S WHAT IT WAS! I HAVE BEEN HITTING MYSELF IN THE HEAD EVER SINCE I MET YOU BECAUSE I COULD HAVE SWORN I HAD SEEN YOU SOMEWHERE!!!!!" she screamed excitingly.
We talked the rest of the night about where I have lived and why I moved to New Jersey. I was so happy she wasn't mad at me for keeping this secret. She was still kind of fan-girling a little bit but soon got over it. I thought it was hilarious the way she would just scream out of pure excitement.
It was 9:30 when I got a text from my dad saying I should come home because we have school tomorrow. Meghan walked me downstairs and out the door closing it behind her. I thanked her for being such an understanding friend and asked her if she could not tell anyone, not even her family. She agreed with a simple "Of course Tessa! You can count on me!", giving me a bone crushing hug in the process. And with that I went home with no regrets.
