Lia

When class started, hindi na ako ganoon kadalas sa trabaho. Tuwing weekend mornings nalang ako sa convenience store tapos kila Mark or sa hospital ako magllunch. It was a routine.

Finofocus ko din sarili ko sa pag aaral. My grades last year weren't pretty good. Hindi ko naman goal ang maging laude, makapasa lang, not like last year though. Pasang awa lang talaga ako last year eh.

Ang busy kasi sa band, tapos laging merong party. Syempre kailangan na din natin magbago.

"Do you have notes for Programming?" Thea asked.

Nagffocus din kasi kaming tatlo ngayon. Dati puro party talaga kaming tatlo, I guess all of us have realized how important this actually is.

"Merong kopya si Zach." I said, pointing at his retreating back. He didn't like to share my notes. Masyado daw kasing maganda iyong handwriting ko for anyone, especially Thea.

"Come back here, douche!" They ended up racing to the photocopy room.

Those two, ang gulo lagi.

I stayed seated, eating the sushi Zach bribed me of. He's such a rip off. He knows how much I love food, so he uses it against me.

Nireview ko din saglit iyong Programming kasi meron kaming quiz mamaya. Hindi ako masyadong nakapag aral kagabi kasi magkasama kami ni Kyle.

And I wasn't noticing it but we rarely spend time with each other anymore. Umalis na nga siya sa apartment niya at bumili ng condo. Nag insist talaga iyong Record Label niya kasi sumisikat na siya.

He deserves it.

After a while of memorizing codes, I went to the canteen to buy a can of soft drinks. I'm always craving for something sweet to drink.

"Lia," I heard my name being called. I turned around and was surprised to see Aaron.

"Hi, what are you doing here?"

He was wearing his lab coat and he looks very attractive. Saka ang alam ko din, hindi dito iyong school niya. Malapit lang naman dito kaya nagkakasabay pa rin kami kumain minsan.

"May ipapaabot lang," He said, lifting his arm holding a bunch of folders.

"Kumain ka na ba?" I asked as I pay for my softdrinks. Lunch time na din kasi, ang kinain ko naman iyong sushi na binigay ni Zach.

"Yeah, can you show me where the Dean's office is?"

"Sure," I said and walked him to the Dean's Office. A couple of eyes stared at us but it wasn't a big deal. Ang tangkad kasi talaga ni Aaron, 6'2 siya sa pagkakaalam ko. And I was a flat 5. Mukha talaga akong duwende sa tabi niya.

I left him in the Dean's Office and bade goodbye.

"A friend of yours?" Halos mapatalon ako sa gulat nang sabayan ako sa paglakad ni Molly. We were blocmates and she's a part of the student body.

"Oo, bakit?"

"Sa Adamson's ba siya?"

"I think so. Nalimutan ko eh."

"I like him. Mind setting me up with him?"

I shook my head, "No, no. Give me your number, iaabot ko nalang sa kaniya."

"Salamat!" She showered me kisses which made me laugh.

This is so different from the Molly I usually see. Hindi naman kasi kami friends, but we're aware of each other.

I took Molly's number and made a mental note to give it to Aaron.

Sabay din kami umattend ni Molly sa next class namin kaya nagulat si Thea at Aaron.
