Weekend came and I couldn't visit Mark because he was in the ICU. I knew he didn't want me to see him there so I settled on not going at all.

It's a Sunday evening and Kyle and I were on a dinner date.

I have been occupied these past few days kaya hindi ako masyado nakakapag spend ng time kasama siya. Siya rin naman kasi busy.

And Aaron was really bothering me. Kahapon kasi magkakasama kaming apat kumain ng tanghalian kasi pupuntahan ko dapat si Mark, pero si Thea na nagsabi sakin na nasa ICU si Mark kaya sila ang nag aya na lumabas kami.

And Aaron was weird yesterday. Completely different from Friday.

"You seem in trance." Kyle said.

"Oh, no, no." I replied. Hindi ko na dapat isipin pa ang ibang tao. I should focus on Kyle. Baka magtampo na to sakin. "Sorry ha, wala kasi ako sa mood makipag usap."

"Yeah, yeah, it's fine. I understand."

"Thank you,"

"But..." He trailed which made me look at him.

"But?"

"The agency wants to put me up on acting. These past few months kasi successful naman iyong mga release namin. And a lot of movies and shows were already casting me and asking to work with me."

"That sounds nice,"

"Yeah but... acting?"

I frowned. I think he can pull it off. "What's wrong with acting?"

"It's just not my forte, you know?"

"You can always learn along the way." I said in a nonchalant tone. I didn't want to be in the way of this opportunity. I know Kyle has other reasons of why he's having doubts.

"I don't know, Li. I might completely lose time with you if it goes well."

"Who said we have to give up time on ourselves?"

He laughed, "You know what I mean."

I nodded. And it's going to break me.

"But you should go for it. You might meet a lot of influential people along the way."

"Wouldn't that bother you? Baka mamaya merong kissing scenes or whatever nonsense."

My grip on the fork tightened. Of course it will bother me. But at the same time, I want him to accept every opportunity in his career. Sayang din.

"It will... but I can live with it."

Nagpakawala ng malalim na hininga si Kyle, like our conversation was very heavy and he didn't want to talk about it anymore.

But it wasn't.

It was only acting.

"Aaron's inviting us to a party." Thea said, reading something from her phone.

We were at our usual spot, behind the Chapel. I intend on reviewing but my mind was flying elsewhere.

My mind have been empty for a couple of days and I don't know the real reason.

If it's about Kyle's acting, Mark's disease, the wedding, studying, or Aaron ignoring me.

I don't fucking know anymore.

"Baka kayo lang," I said.

"What? Lagi kang kasama." Zach said. He knew something was wrong with Aaron and I, but just like me, he can't pinpoint it.
