It can't be happening he can't go through it again. It's a dream it must be. He can't be relieving it again. He didn't mean for any of this to happen. Didn't want anyone to get hurt. This obsession with a girl is going to get him killed. He must get away before it's too late.

"Where are you running off to?" He turned around. But it was too late. One-shot, two shots, three shots.

Pain. The pain was all he felt. The burning sensation deepened into his skin. How could he be so stupid? Of course, he was going to kill him. He wouldn't leave any witnesses.

"You're pathetic, but thanks to you, I'll be able to get my hands on her."

"No, y-you won't."

"Oh, really and what will you do, Jace?" Jace looked up. "What will do? You are dead."

"I, w-will stop you," Jace coughed fall back. "Z-Zach will stop you."

"Sure he will."

"I..I..," it was getting difficult to breathe now. "Ro-Ronald, y-you'll die.."

"I won't be dying, you will say goodnight," Jace felt the pain. "You should've had listened to your friends from the beginning. Goodbye Jace."

"No." He can't die. He can't. What can he do?

Slowly he got up. Using the trees for support, he walked away. But fell, and landed next to someone. There was a dead boy. Almost around his age. He had a shot to the head. Did Ronald do it? He did. Jace could feel his wound healing. How can he face his parents? His friends and family? He can't h.is a disgrace. Jace quickly undressed the boy. Then he took his clothes off and switched them. Then Jace ran and never looked back. He came upon a cliff. He was trapped now. The only way out is to jump. Jace jumped without hesitation. He hit the water. The waves were strong, it pulled him under, deeper into the dark waters this was his end. He will die. At least he had a great life.

"Jace!"

Wait who's that? Who could be calling him?

"Jace!"

It's a female voice. Is this heaven? No, it's not. But that voice. It's.

"Jace wake up!"

Pearl!

He sat up, breathing heavily, and he was sweating. That dream again. It's always the same. He can never forget it. It will haunt him for the rest of his life.

"Are you okay?" He turned to Pearl. "You were having a nightmare. Is it the same one?"

"Yes," Jace said. "I'll be okay."

Pearl sighed. "If only you would tell me what the dream is about?" Pearl kissed him. "Do you trust me?"

"I do," he said. "But there are some things I rather not tell you."

"Alright," she smiled. "Let's go back to sleep." She pulled him down. Jace held her closer. Her naked body pressed against his. "When you're ready to speak of it, then I'll be here to listen."
