Jace was all ready to go to his mother's. And then she calls him to tell him not to come until tomorrow. Now he has a headache, and this voice kept trying to get in his head. It got closer with each passing time.
"Daddy," he looked at Natalia she had Ari. Ari was cover with white powder. "He got into the flour."
"And how did he reached it?" Jace asked.
"Um," she looked down. "I'm sorry. I dropped it, trying to get the cookies."
"Ah," he sighed. "It's alright, come on, to the bathroom," he said getting up. "Hmm, let's go to the lake."
Going outside to the lake, he let them swim around. Close to the shore. He kept Ari in his arms making sure Natalia didn't swim far. Ari wanted to play with some toys he brought. Jace set him down, Ari sat there playing with the plastic shovel.
Smiling, Jace looked up at the sky. It was night already. But that didn't mean shit. He had installed some lamps. They light the shore.
'Okay enough,' Reed said. 'Let the person speak.'
'No,' Jace said.
'Yes,' Reed argues.
'Fine,' Jace sighed.
Unblocking his mind, Jace could hear many voices speaking at once. He blocked those he didn't need to talk too and let the one that's trying to contact him the most.
'Jace!' He held his head. No not that one. He didn't want to hear it. 'Jace stop it!'
He can't take it. Blocking his head again, he sighed.
"Dad Ari is gone!" He looked around.
"Ari!" He called out to him. Where did he go? He was here. He couldn't have gone too far. He can't walk. His crawling will be slow. "Ari!"
"Daddy look," Natalia pointed to the trail of sand. Sighing, Jace followed the trailed of sand, holding her hand.
When they got closer, they heard his laughter Jace faster; the laughter got closer them. Like he was walking toward them. A shadow emerges, with Ari. The person emerges into the light making Jace freeze. His body began to shake. He slowly began to shift. Natalia was pulled away from him by Zach. And Ari was held by Eleanor.
"Will leave you two alone," Eleanor said and walked away with the kids and left them alone.
He shifted completely. Howling and growling. He hit trees and ran out back to the lake. Jace howls at the moon. Why is this world playing tricks on him?
"Jace, stop it!" She yelled. "It isn't a dream!"
"Don't speak to me!" He yelled back. "You can't be here! I saw you die!"
"Jace, please calm down," she said. "Let me explained."
"No!" He went to attack her.
Him attacking his mate. Was she even his mate. He can't tell if she's alive or not. Pearl shifted. And dodge his attack.
'Enough!' Reed yelled.
He took control of him. Now he was crouch down. Unable to take control of his body. Pearl got closer and nudged him. He growled. It was the only thing he could do.
'Jace, I'm sorry,' she said. 'I was dead but came back. I was in a coma, I recently woke up and got Sal and my memories back. They tried to tell you, but you wouldn't listen.'
