Jace groaned he couldn't contact them. Because he didn't know the phone number. He is stupid for not memorizing Jim's phone number. So now he was stuck here without communication. But he will find a way.

"Your friends stare a lot don't they?" Jace said.

"Yeah," Aldric said. "Your good looking."

"Ah I see," he chuckled. "Is something wrong?"

"I don't know," he sighed. "You said when finding my mate I'll be able to smell her instantly."

"Yeah, did you find her?" Jace asked.

"Well, theirs this scent I keep smelling," he said. "It smells like wet dirt. It's a nice smell though."

"But?" Jace waited for him to answer. He seemed doubtful.

"It's faint," he said. "Like it's miles away from here. And it's coming from one direction; it's like I could see a line showing where to go."

"Oh, then she must not be that far," Jace said.

Aldric sighed. "You think she will come here?"

"Not sure, let's hope she does," Jace said.

"Jace," Natalia climb onto his lap. "When are we going home?"

Jace sighed. He has been sincere with Natalia and told her that he killed her mother. And did terrible things, she doesn't blame him. She blames the people that turned him into what he is now. He also told her, as long as she's by his side. He can control this new side of him. It's because of her that I manage to control it.

"Soon," Jace said.

Jace told her he would be her father from now on and will protect her. And she'll have a new mommy. She liked that. He'll keep the promise he made to himself. He'll take responsibility for his actions and raise this child. He'll give her a future. At night he prays to her mother, that he will take care of her child. And he asks for forgiveness. He knows she accepted now he feels at peace.

"Jace, I heard vampires and wolf don't get along," Aldric said. "Well, I read it."

"In books, that's was true but now they get along," Jace said. "My cousin is married to a vampire."

"Rally?" He looked surprised. "That's so cool."

"Yeah, I haven't met his wife, but I heard she's nice," Jace said. "I have been away from my family for years now. Presume death, because I allow it. I made mistakes throughout my life. And it's time I fix them."

"Yeah," Aldric smiled.

"Hey Aldric," a girl walked over and sat on Aldric lap. "Why haven't you text or call me back?"

"Because I been busy," Aldric said. "I have guests."

"Oh," the girl smile at him. "You friend is hot."

"Sue?" Aldric pushed her off his lap. "Look I don't have time for you or anyone else."

"But, Javier having a party this weekend," Sue said. "He wants you to come."

"No thank you," Aldric said.

"Fine, but I know you'll come," Sue smiled and left.

"She's annoying," Aldric said.

"They aren't your friends," Jace said. "They only with you because of your looks."

"I know, I don't consider them my friends," Aldric said.

"Well soon you'll find your mate, and you'll know what true friends are," Jace said. He nodded.

Jim growled. "Why would she do this? Pearl is stubborn. She is risking her life and that of her child. I told her to many time to not do anything stupid."
