Y/n's POV
I stared out at the ancient trees. They swayed almost rhythmically in the summer breeze. I instinctively opened the door and looked down. Mochi wasn't there. I frowned and shook my head hard. I didn't know why I had done that.
"You're going crazy." I mumbled to myself. I closed and locked the door once more. The darkness from beyond the trees didn't feel menacing. It felt warm, and inviting. I reached my shaky hand out and just as my fingertips were about to graze the smooth cold glass, I felt his arms gently hug me.
"Sweetie, why aren't you asleep?" He whispered lovingly into my ear. I smiled slightly and leaned into his muscular chest. I felt calmer just having his presence near me.
"Sorry babe, I couldn't sleep. I was gonna get a cup of cocoa and then I just got lost in my thoughts." I murmured. He squeezed me a little tighter than I was comfortable with, then slowly eased off slightly. It was as though he was afraid I would escape him, if he didn't hold me as close as he could.
"Is everything OK? You've been distant lately. Have I upset you?" He enquired. His voice was full of worry and I my shoulders felt heavy with guilt. I had been off recently but I was doing it to myself.
"No! I've just been having weird dreams. They've been so real it's like their memories. It's insane though because it's about elves and they don't exist." I giggled slightly and felt stupid for even revealing this information to Yoonie.
"Elves you say?" He sounded intrigued and I smiled more brightly. His feigned interest was nice, but it was also silly.
"Don't Yoonie. It's stupid. I'm gonna go back to bed. You coming?" I pulled away from him and began walking towards the stairs that led to our shared room.
"I'll be there soon. I'm just going to get some water." He called after me. I quickly headed up the stairs. I needed to sleep, for some reason I was more and more exhausted every day, and no amount of rest seemed to be helping.
Yoonjun's POV
"That fucking soul guide." I murmured once I was certain she was out of earshot. "I knew he was doing something." I quietly opened the door and stepped into the garden.
"Arf!" The little dog ran out behind me and stood by my side.
"Piss off you stupid mutt." I kicked out at the puppy, and my foot narrowly missed him. I had only bought him so I could stitch her old memories to the new ones, and cover up the existence of her soul guide. Luckily she had grown very fond of the puppy. My enchantment had worked. I saw the brilliant white owl in the sky. His feathers shone against the moonlight as he tried to escape. I cast my enchantment quickly and smirked.
He wouldn't escape tonight.
I sent my fear fairies up into the sky and watched as they almost danced with the owl. He was desperately trying to escape and I saw feathers flying everywhere. He was squawking and flapping like crazy, but there were too many of them to fight off. I had almost drained her power and that meant the same for him.
He was weak.
"Good luck Mochi." I smirked and turned back towards the house. The stupid dog was sat staring at me. I glared at him and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. I shoved him through the door and locked it. He whimpered and cowered in the corner.
"Bed." I said firmly. The small puppy raced up up stairs and I brushed my hair from my face. I looked out once more and smirked.
That soul guide would be dead in an hour.
Felix's POV
I saw the black cloaked figures flying in the sky. I also saw him falling. His wings were stretched and his eyes were closed.
