Felix's POV
"JIMIN!" I watched as his body went limp once more. He had only just awakened. I quickly dropped to my knees and allowed him to land in my lap.
I winced as the angry pain began spreading throughout my body. I was beginning to feel every tiny cut that had been sliced into my body.
"Young Prince! Please, you must let me heal you!" The high priestess tutted in annoyance as I moved away from her healing hands. I stared down at Jimin and shook his shoulders with as much strength as I could muster. Why had he collapsed all of a sudden? He had given us one final warning and chaos had erupted around the whole kingdom.
"Jimin-ssi!" Tears began stinging my eyes, and slowly sliding down my cheeks. Even though the feeling of jealousy I had towards him was intense, I didn't want any harm to befall him.
"High Priestess, please you have to tell us if we can win this war!" King Han begged. He dropped to his knees and held his head in his hands as she worked on me. Despair had consumed him at the thought of losing his daughter.
"I'm sorry my King, that is not possible. The prophecy must unfold. It is unclear what will happen, even if all of the conditions are met." She bowed her head and continued working.
"Felix! We have to save her. We cannot lose her again." He begged. He reeked of desperation and fear and anguish were deeply carved into his face. I vowed to myself, that nothing would stop me from saving the Princess.
I was far too invested to let her go now.
"Don't worry King Han. I will not let any harm come to the Princess. My Father charged me with her safety. If I don't follow through with his orders I am committing treason. That's a crime punishable by death." I stated. He looked at me with tears in his eyes.
He seemed to understand this was my way of explaining that I cared for the Princess.
"Thank you Prince Felix. My army is at your disposal." He offered generously. "General Han." He waved Chan over.
"Yes Your Majesty?" Chan bowed deeply to his King.
"Once Felix is healed, lend him your strength. Listen to his command, he is your leader in this war. He knows the enemy better than most."
"Yes Your Majesty." Chan bowed to us both and I finally felt the weight of the responsibility my shoulders now bore.
I could not fail in this mission. If I did war and chaos would break out amongst the four Elven Kingdom's. None of us were prepared for that.
"You are healed Prince. Let me take a look at the soul guide." I moved and allowed the high priestess to look over Jimin. I hoped he could be saved. He was precious and y/n would never forgive me if he died.
"General Chan, we have preparations to make. We do not know all of the strength Yoonjun possesses." I stated flatly as I stood. I looked down at Jimin. His pale skin looked lack luster, and I couldn't even tell if he was breathing.
Time was now incredibly short. It was unclear of how much time the Princess had now that she had been exposed.
Yoonjun's POV
"Oh Princess, how long did you think you could fool me for?" I whispered in her ear. Her head was bowed and her breathing was laboured. The last of her magical energy would soon be mine.
"For just as long as I needed to." She hissed. I smirked. I loved this new fiesty side her elven spirit brought forth. I grabbed a fistful of her messy hair and forced her to look into my eyes. She was glaring at me with a determination I had never seen in her before.
"I can tell you want to kill me. Why don't you do it? Or are you afraid you'll fail Princess? My army is unlimited. All of your elven friends and family will die. Including that Prince you are so fond of." Blood slowly trickled from her nose.
"Felix will kill you. You have no idea of the power he has!" She spat like an angry little cat and I stood once more. I pushed my hands deep into my pockets and smiled sweetly.
"And you, have no idea of your real power, or how much of it I now possess." She cowered away from me and hugged her knees tightly to her chest. I leaned down and wiped some blood from her top lip. She pulled her face away, and refused to meet my gaze.
"You don't stand a chance against us Yoonjun. We will never stop fighting until you're defeated!" I shot her a look. My eyes glowed with all the power I now possessed and I stared deep into her soul.
"That, Princess, is where you are sorely mistaken."
Even though she was acting brave, I could see the darkness of the fear that radiated from deep within her. It was slowly wrapping itself around what little hope she had. Like a snake squeezing the life out of its prey.
I rubbed my finger and thumb together, toying with the sticky crimson liquid.
I smirked knowingly at the Princess. She would crack soon.
Y/n's POV
Yoonjun had left and I couldn't be more grateful. I held my side gently and winced at the sharp pain that was spreading through my body. He had gone mad when he finally entered the bathroom.
Physically I was no match for him. Currently I wasn't a magical match for him either. How had I allowed him to sap so much of my power?
"Jimin, Jimin are you there?" I called into the void. I needed him now more than ever and I was terrified he had abandoned me. I had felt the rush of power, and I was praying he hadn't done what I thought he had.
No reply came. I took a deep breath and winced again as the pain stabbed me once more, demanding I stop poking around the injured area. If Yoonjun said I possessed powers I didn't know of, let's see how strong I was.
"If there are any creatures who can hear my plea, assemble in the Kingdom of Eldoria. A war we are ill prepared for is brewing. The necromancer walks these lands once more. Chaos and death is afoot. I beseech you to hear my plea" I focused on sending the message through the air. Forcing it through the branches. Allowing the wind to carry my words off into the distance.
Now it was a waiting game. The darkness of Yoonjun's evil intentions were bearing down on my shoulders, and I felt weaker than I ever had before. A warm body pressed to mine and I hadn't realised Mochi two had even been in here.
He was the only comfort I had in this dark time. I reached my shaky cold hand out and gently stroked his short soft fur. He carefully climbed into my lap and pressed his delicate warm body against my broken ribs. I winced, and then the pain seemed to be slowly easing.
Animals were always the key to healing.
"Please my Prince. Don't do anything rash. Stay safe." I laid down on the cold tiled floor and closed my eyes as tears began falling. I slowly stroked the small puppy's head and wiped my nose with the cuff of my hoody. I had finally submitted to the darkness that surrounded me.
"I have done everything I can. Please Prince. Hurry." I whispered into the all consuming void. I could feel the last of my energy leaving me and I shivered on the cold hard floor.
This was probably the last memory I would ever have.
