I woke in the gigantic four poster bed and I didn't want to move a muscle. My body was still healing from the illness and my muscles had been weakened dramatically. The bed was carefully crafted from tree branches that had been manipulated as they grew. It was stunning. It was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in.

"Good Morning Mochi." I reached out and gently petted the puppy. He slowly lifted his head and gently licked my fingers. It was amazing how close our bond had become since we had learned to communicate. He slowly stood up, and I watched as the glittering light transformed him into a human.

"Good Morning y/n." He said softly. He laid on his side and propped his head up with one hand. "How are you feeling today?"

"Sore, and weak. I think I've been surviving on adrenaline, and I'm feeling the aftermath now." I murmured. He gently brushed some hair from my face and placed the back of his delicate hand to my head.

"Your fever has definitely come down, but you're still a little warm. I will speak to the King and ask for the high priestess to give you a once over." He slowly got up and stretched his arms above his head. His toned stomach was on display and I found myself staring for a little too long.

"Please get those thoughts out of your head." He smirked as he lowered his arms and walked away. I wanted the ground to swallow me on the spot. I always forgot that the little brat was in my head.

"Get out of my mind you psychopath!" I called as he exited the room giggling.

Once I was up and dressed, in an elven dress provided by the King, I made my way to the dining hall. Felix was already eating and the King invited me to sit in one of the large comfortable chairs around the long table.

"How are you feeling today?" Felix asked. I smiled and nodded slightly.

"I'm ok thanks Felix, how are you?" I asked as I helped myself to some of the food that was in front of me.

"I'm ok. We have a busy day though. We have some training to do. I need to help you find the warrior that has been buried under the human spirit." He said through a mouthful of meat. I couldn't help giggling as he looked like a hamster who had stuffed his cheek pouches.

"Remember Felix, don't wander to far. The Air Elves will be arriving today and they will want to meet with the Princess." His father reminded softly.

"OK your Majesty. I'll keep the training within the confines of the Kingdom. I don't think it's wise for us to step foot outside the boundaries of the Kingdom at the moment. The necromancer knows where the Princess is." He responded.

I watched as another beautiful Elf entered and whispered something to the King. He nodded and his eyes fell upon me. He frowned intently and looked annoyed.

"Princess, why did you not tell me you have not regained your full strength?!" He sounded disappointed and I cringed slightly. Felix looked at me and frowned too.

"I didn't want to bother anyone. Please accept my apologies your majesty." I bowed my head in shame and stared down at my hands.

"Felix, escort her to the high Priestess. She will give her another examination. Training may not be wise today." Felix stood and I followed suit. We both exited the room and he began leading me down the maze of corridors within the Palace.

"Y/n. Don't push yourself too much. You're far too important to fall ill." He mumbled quietly. I thought he would be annoyed, but instead I heard concern in his voice. It was a pleasant change from the utter disgust I was used to.

"I'm sorry. I just don't want to worry everyone. I feel useless, and stupid for letting Yoonjun," Felix shuddered visibly at the utterance of that name, "take advantage of me and keep me under his spell."
