Y/n's POV
I carefully climbed down the flimsy trellis and began sprinting in the direction of the light. Jimin was just steps behind me and we headed to the poppy fields.
I had to know Felix was OK.
"Y/n!" I heard Changbin as I shot past him, but ignored him. I didn't have time for lectures. I didn't care about the prophecy. I only cared about Felix.
The poppy field had a crater burned into it and I could see King Jeongin on his knees. The rainbow of lights were slowly dying down and I quickly approached the King.
"Your Majesty, are you OK?" I asked as I knelt next to him. He was panting, and a slight sweat had broken across his forehead. He nodded and I helped him get to his feet. Felix was laid on the floor, and Jimin was carefully tending to him as the power surge that had erupted from him slowly died down.
"Thank you Princess." He said softly with a smile.
"What happened?!" King Hyunjin had arrived at the odd scene and I bowed deeply.
"I bestowed his full powers upon him." Seungmin stated casually. I frowned. I thought Felix had his powers. What on Earth did he mean?
"Seungmin, when I asked you to do that I didn't mean right this second!" Hyunjin sounded furious. He knelt next to his son and slapped Jimin's attentive hands away. He lifted the unconscious Prince from the floor and carefully cradled him. Felix looked so small in his Father's impressive arms and his head flopped onto his shoulder.
"Well, it's done now." The King shrugged and I wasn't sure what to do, should I go with them or should I go back to my room?
"Princess. I don't know why you're here, but you shouldn't be. Defying royal orders, whether you're a Princess or not, could be taken as treason. I suggest you go back to your chamber." Hyunjin instructed coldly as he began walking. It was as though he had heard my thoughts.
"But King Hyu-" Seungmin gently tugged on my arm and I stopped talking. Hyunjin shot me a disgusted look and I bowed my head, before he hurried away.
"Don't worry Princess. I'm sure things will work out for the best." Seungmin reassured. I didn't buy it though.
I knew things were only going to get worse.
Felix's POV
When I awoke in my squishy bed my father was sat next to me, concern and worry were etched into his face like a permanent feature nowadays. I blinked a couple of times and sighed loudly. My body felt as though it had been tossed around by the giants of the mountains in a cruel game of catch.
"You're awake." He said affectionately as he smiled at me. The worry was slowly leaving his face and I propped myself up against the sturdy headboard.
"Sorry Father. I didn't mean to cause you any unnecessary concern." I said softly. He shook his head and placed his hand over mine.
"Don't apologise young Prince. I'm just relieved you're OK." He stated.
"What time is it father?" I asked quietly.
"Past midnight son. Why?" He enquired. He eyed me suspiciously and I knew he wouldn't agree with me going scouting tonight. But it was my duty, plus I had a plan. The necromancer was going to lose what he had stolen tonight.
"I'm going scouting." I began getting out of bed, and despite his protests, I wouldn't listen. I needed to take Yoonjun out. My priority was protecting this Kingdom.
