We snuck back into my room and finally we relaxed. Getting the prophecy was the easy part.

Deciphering the old Elven text was what we were dreading.

Jimin gently unravelled the scroll and laid it out on the floor carefully. We sat around it and began working away.

Jimin was very good at translating, Felix was helping by looking through dense elven texts to translate the words Jimin did not know.

I was useless. Other than the pictures, I could not decipher a single word. I hated feeling like this, so I made sure Jimin and Felix were as comfortable as possible and had enough to eat.

"It's getting late. We should call it a night." Felix stretched his arms above his head and stood up. Jimin yawned and laid back on the floor. Dwaeji jumped on him and began tugging at his clothes.

"Stop it you stupid pig!" Jimin tried to pull the fabric from the puppies mouth and dwaeji growled at him.

"Jimin he's a puppy!" I said softly as I watched them amused.

"With the mouth of a sailor! If he swears at me once more..." Jimin quickly began transforming and dwaeji ran away from him. Felix walked over to me and kissed me on the cheek.

"Goodnight y/n. I'll see you in the morning." He smiled at me and I frowned. Why did he always have to go? I watched the two puppies wrestling on the floor and couldn't help smiling slightly.

"Felix, why don't you stay? We've barely spent any time together. I miss you." I said softly. He stopped walking and looked over his shoulder at me.

"Y/n. You know I can't." He said softly.

"Why not? I'm not asking you to do anything, other than stay here. With me." I murmured. He sighed and rubbed his tired looking face.

"It's indecent." He stated.

"So what? We could be dead tomorrow."

"Y/n. Don't joke about such things." He growled.

"I'm not! I nearly died Felix! I did die. All I'm asking is to spend one night sleeping next to you." I pulled myself up from my bed and walked over to him. I placed my hand on his cheek softly and he kissed my palm.

"What if everyone finds out? It is completely against the ancient traditions we follow." He pulled me into a tight embrace and I buried my face in his chest. Felix was like my home and these stolen moments were no longer enough for me.

"We'll handle it my Prince." I took his hand and placed it over my heart. "It beats for you Felix, and only you. Please forget about tradition, and rules and all those other things that make you put your sense of duty above your heart." I pleaded.

"Princess-" I didn't give him a chance to speak. I pressed my lips to his and wrapped my arms around his neck. He gave in and wrapped his arms firmly around my waist.

"Please Felix. Just for tonight." I whispered as I stared into his eyes. He sighed and kissed me again.

"Just tonight." He repeated. I smiled brightly and began kissing his face all over. My heart was filled with joy, and I couldn't wait to finally fall asleep next to the man I loved.

Felix's POV

She was laid in bed and I felt odd. This was against everything I had been taught as I grew. I slowly approached and settled next to her.

"You can come under the blanket. I won't bite." She murmured. I frowned.

"Y/n. Please. We have to be respectful." I mumbled. As much as I wanted her, I knew the King's would disapprove. She huffed and rolled over to face the window.
