They sat in the car in comfortable silence, the city lights passing by outside the window. Tiffany rested her head against the glass, watching Seoul blur past.

"Oh, um, Tiff?" Mark called softly.

She turned to him. "Yeah?"

"I was...wondering if I could tell my fans about you."

She blinked. "Tell them about me?"

"Not like, everything," he rushed. "Not your address or anything, obviously. I just mean...maybe post a picture of us. On my story. And not even say much. Just that you're my best friend."

She stayed quiet for a moment.

"I mean," he continued, rubbing the back of his neck, "they know Matthew. They've seen him before. But they don't know you. And...I'm closer to you than anyone, so it just felt weird not acknowledging that you exist."

She looked at him properly now.

"You want to introduce me to your fans?"

"Yeah," he nodded.

She hesitated.

"Wouldn't that be unsafe?" she asked quietly. "I mean...you know how fans are. It's different with Matthew. He's a guy. Nobody really cares. I'm a girl."

He sighed. "Yeah...I thought about that."

She thought for a moment.

"But," she said slowly, "it's not a bad idea either. If people ever see us together, at least there won't be dating rumors. They'll already know I'm just your best friend."

He looked at her hopefully.

"So...you're saying I can?"

She nodded. "Just don't reveal my name. Or my Instagram."

He smiled instantly. "Deal."

"How's the food, Tiff?" Mark's mom asked.

Tiffany dramatically closed her eyes after taking a bite.

"I feel so nostalgic right now," she sighed. "Like, remember those Friday nights when we used to have sleepovers? I would literally wait the whole week just so I could eat dinner made by you."

"Oh my God, you just unlocked a memory," Mark's dad laughed.

"I remember how Mom and Dad told us to sleep early," Mark added, grinning, "and we'd plan to pretend we were asleep so we could have pillow fights later...and then we'd actually just fall asleep."

Everyone burst out laughing.

"It's honestly one of my favourite childhood memories," Minhyuck smiled.

"Not gonna lie," Tiffany said softly, "I feel like we've grown up too fast. I kinda wanna go back to when I was five."

"I think ever since we left Canada, Tiff's become wiser," Mark said thoughtfully.

"That's because you took all the dumb with you," Tiffany replied flatly.

The table exploded into laughter again.

"Seriously," Mrs. Lee laughed, "you two haven't stopped bickering even now! You're both twenty-three!"

Mark chuckled. "So...what are everyone's plans for tomorrow?"

"Aunty and I are going shopping around the neighbourhood," Tiffany said.

"I have work," Mark's dad sighed.

"I...uh...have somewhere to be," Minhyuck scratched the back of his neck.

"Just say you're going on a date," Mrs. Lee teased.

Tiffany's eyes widened. "Wait, you have a girlfriend?"

Minhyuck nodded sheepishly. "Yeah."

"Wow," Tiffany laughed, "literally everyone I know is getting into relationships. First Matthew, then Alex-"

"Who's Alex?" Mark asked.

Minhyuck suddenly started choking on his water.

Mark blinked at him. "You okay?"

"Alex is my roommate," Tiffany explained. "She recently started dating a girl."

"Oh," Mark nodded, relieved.

Tiffany looked back at him curiously. "What about you though? Do you, like...meet other K-pop idols backstage during music shows?"
