Tiffany sat at the dining table working on her assignment while Mrs. Lee sipped coffee across from her, soft music playing through the Bluetooth speaker.
The front door unlocked suddenly and Mark walked in.
"You're back early?" Mrs. Lee asked.
"I'm not staying." He smiled. "Tiff, come on."
"What? Where?" Tiffany looked up.
"You'll see." He reached for her hand.
"Wait, let me get my wallet-"
"There's no need." He met her eyes. "Just come."
"But dinner-"
"We're eating somewhere else," he said easily.
Tiffany glanced at Mrs. Lee, who was already smiling knowingly.
"I'll see you later, aunty."
Mark was already guiding her outside.
"Come on, they're waiting."
"Who-?"
He only smiled as he led her toward a large black van parked nearby.
Mark slid the door open.
Tiffany froze.
Doyoung was staring straight at her. Jungwoo peeked from behind him.
"Taehee noona, hello," Jeno said with a bow.
"Tae- who told you my Korean name?" Tiffany gasped before bowing quickly. "Hello."
"Milk, obviously." Donghyuck leaned forward. "Hi, I'm Donghyuck. Full Sun." He offered his hand. "Mark hyung talks about you a lot."
She shook his hand and glanced at Mark, who was already watching her with a small, fond smile.
"Get in," he said gently.
She climbed inside and sat between Mark and Xiaojun.
"H-hello," she said shyly.
"H-hello," Xiaojun replied, equally flustered.
"So...where are we going?" she asked quietly, picking at the skin near her nail.
Mark noticed instantly.
Without saying anything, he took her hands and laced their fingers together, resting them on his thigh.
Her cheeks warmed.
Jaemin cleared his throat.
"You're coming to watch us perform."
"Live or on TV," Yangyang added, "your choice."
"Live," she laughed. "Obviously."
"And then dinner," Shotaro said.
"Will you come with us?" Doyoung asked.
"I'd love to." She turned to Mark. "You too, right?"
"Of course."
"How did you like our new song?" Jungwoo asked.
"I loved it. You guys never disappoint."
"Who's your bias?" Jeno asked.
"Me," Donghyuck said immediately.
"No, it's me," Mark argued.
"It's impossible to have a bias in NCT," Tiffany laughed.
