"Me? Liking Tiffany?" Mark laughed, and Doyoung gave him a look. "...Yeah."

"I knew it." Doyoung smacked his arm lightly. "Actually, we all do."

"What?" Mark looked at him with widened eyes.

"Yeah, you're not subtle." Doyoung smiled. "Don't worry, though. I don't think she knows."

Mark sighed and rubbed his face. "That's the problem. Every time I try to tell her, someone interrupts us."

"Then tell her now," Donghyuck and Jungwoo appeared beside them.

"Where did you even come from?" Mark asked.

"We heard you admit it," Donghyuck said. "You still like her."

Mark exhaled slowly. "I can't. Not here. Not in front of all of you."

"She won't be here forever," Donghyuck said.

"She literally came two days ago," Mark muttered.

"And when you tell her right before she leaves?" Doyoung said. "Then what? No time. No closure."

"She's a medical student, Mark," Jungwoo added. "And you're an idol. When will you get another chance?"

Mark stayed quiet.

"After you introduce her to Alice noona," Donghyuck said, "get her alone. We'll distract the others."

Mark nodded slowly. "Okay."

Mark walked back over to the group.

"Okay, y'all need to excuse us," he said. "I need to introduce her to Alice noona."

"Oh finally," Johnny laughed. "She was getting impatient."

"It was nice meeting you, Tiffany," Jaehyun smiled.

"You too," she bowed.

"You'll meet again at the Christmas party," Taeyong said.

Mark nodded. "Let's go."

He glanced back once at Doyoung, Jungwoo, and Donghyuck. They gave him small encouraging nods.

He led Tiffany out of the practice room.

She turned. "Yeah?"

"You remember what I said the other night?"

"...About you having a crush on me in high school?"

"Yeah." He nodded. "I wanted to tell you something."
