"Yeah, we do," Mark nodded

"Yeah, we do," Mark nodded.

"So...do you like any idol?" Tiffany asked.

"Not really," he shrugged. "I don't want to be in a relationship right now, to be honest. I'm at the peak of my career, and I want to put that first. Being in a relationship would probably just complicate things."

Mr. Lee smiled gently. "What about you, Tiff?"

"I don't think I really have the time to date either," she admitted. "I've been in a few relationships, but they always start to feel one-sided. At some point, they begin putting other things before me, friends, games, work...and I just get tired of being the only one trying."

"I'm sure you'll find the right one soon," Mrs. Lee said, squeezing her hand reassuringly.

It was around ten at night when Mark and Tiffany sat in her room, laughing about their childhood memories.

Suddenly, Tiffany's phone started vibrating violently.

She glanced at the screen.

Alex.

"Oh no," she muttered, standing up. "Excuse me one second."

She picked up the call.

"Bitch!" Alex screamed so loudly Mark could hear it across the room. "You did NOT tell me the Mark who's your best friend is Mark Lee."

"I...sorry?" Tiffany laughed nervously.

"Oh my God, I am literally screaming right now," Alex gasped. "He PUT YOU ON HIS STORY. How are you this calm?!"

Mark covered his mouth to suppress his laughter. Tiffany shot him a deadly glare.

"Calm down, Alex," she said. "Didn't you have a date today?"

"Yes, but MA'AM, I need an explanation."

"You'll get one when I get back, I promise," Tiffany said quickly. "Bye!"

"But-"

She hung up before Alex could finish.

Mark immediately burst out laughing.

"Very funny," Tiffany deadpanned.

"Yo, dude," he said, pointing at her phone. "Is that...me?"

"No!" she quickly locked her phone.

He raised an eyebrow.

"...Okay, maybe."

He smirked.

"That's just because you're my bias," she blurted out. "Shit, I wasn't supposed to say that."

"Yo, I'm your bias?" he laughed. "I thought it was Haechan."

"I mean, he is too," she shrugged. "It's impossible to have just one bias in NCT."

"But I'm lowkey honored," he teased. "You have me as your wallpaper."

He paused, then looked at her more seriously.

"I gotta tell you something."

"You're making your solo debut," she guessed. "Just kidding."

But it was too late.

Mark had already reacted.
