"Mark, stop! It tickles!" Tiffany laughed as she fell back onto the couch, trying to squirm away.

Mark only laughed harder, catching her wrists and gently pinning them above her head. She looked up at him, breathless, and froze when she noticed the soft smile on his face. His eyes weren't teasing anymore, just warm, fond, and a little too intense.

"What is it?" she asked, sitting up slightly.

He didn't answer.

Instead, he leaned in and kissed her again, slow, unhurried, like he had all the time in the world. It felt different this time. Less playful. More real.

"Mark?" she blinked.

He bit his lower lip before kissing her again, deeper this time, like he had no intention of pulling away anytime soon. She smiled into the kiss and leaned closer, her hands instinctively resting on his shoulders.

They were far too absorbed in each other to notice the sound of keys unlocking the front door.

The door opened.

Minhyuck stepped inside, and froze.

Tiffany pulled away first, mostly because she needed air. Her gaze drifted past Mark's shoulder, and her eyes widened instantly.

Mark followed her stare.

"Hyung-" he started, instantly flustered.

Minhyuck stared at them, pointing back and forth in disbelief. "What...what the hell is happening?"

"We can explain!" Tiffany squeaked.

Mark quickly pulled his brother toward the couch and made him sit, standing beside Tiffany like they were about to confess a crime. He glanced at her and nodded encouragingly.

"So," Tiffany began awkwardly, "um... Mark and I...we-" she glanced at him again, cheeks warm, "-we really like each other."

Minhyuck slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Dude, you're overreacting," Mark muttered. "You knew I liked her."

"You knew about me too, didn't you?" Tiffany added.

Minhyuck lowered his hand slowly. "Yeah...but I never thought you two would actually have the guts to say it out loud."

Mark rolled his eyes. "We were going to tell you all anyway."

"How long have you two been dating?" Minhyuck asked cautiously.

Tiffany laughed. "About an hour and a half."

Right on cue, her phone started ringing. "Oh- why is my professor calling?"

She bolted upstairs, leaving the brothers alone.

Minhyuck looked at Mark, who was still staring at the staircase with a fond, almost dazed expression.

"You really like her, huh?" Minhyuck asked.

"I'm head over heels," Mark replied without hesitation.

Mark knocked lightly before stepping into Tiffany's room. She was sitting on the bed, laptop open, typing away. She looked up and smiled.

"Whatcha doing?" he asked, lying down beside her.

"Just sent an email," she said. "What's up?"

He grinned mischievously. "I lowkey wanna tease the fans."

She raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"

"Like...post a picture of us on my story and say nothing."

She hummed, impressed. "So, soft-launching us?"

"Kinda," he chuckled. "I swear my group chat is going to explode."

She shook her head, smiling. "You're trouble, Mark Lee."

"And you love it," he replied, inching closer.

"And you love it," he replied, inching closer
