Chapter 10

I woke up to the sound of my window opening, "Daniel?"

Daniel ran up to me and scooped me up in his arms, "Jesse we have to go now!"

"What? What is going on?" I gasped as he jumped out the window and landed on both of his feet. He put me on his back and whispered, "Hold on tight, or you will fall." I nodded my head and he started running quickly into the forest, turning into a wolf.

I gasped as I could feel the change, fur instead of skin, snout instead of a mouth, he had sharp teeth and sharp green eyes. We were getting deeper and deeper into the forest until we came to a stop. There was a big oak tree in front of us and he howled. The tree split open and you could see stairs, secret hidding place. He walked in and the tree closed behind us.

Daniel turned back into a human and I could see that his shirt was gone, probably left behind in the dirt. As I looked around, there were torches lining the walls. There was a long hallway, statues and painting surrounding the place.

"Ok Jesse you can talk now," he started walking and I followed beside him.

"What...why am I here? At 2 in the morning?" I shook my head and rubbed my forehead.

"Vampires." He answered, nice and simple.

"What about them?" I asked concerned.

"They found you, I could smell them coming."

"Why me?" I paced back and forth, tearing off my nails.

"Actually...Im not completely sure. Either they want your blood, or they wanna kill me. Maybe they want both." He looked up at me and sighed.

"I had a dream, about a vampire", I sat down on a rock, there were little bugs crawling all over the place.

Daniels eyes got wide and he sat down next to me and weaved his fingers into mine, "What?"

I nodded my head, there was a headache spreading through out my system.

"A vampire attacked me and...you saved me." His eyes went cold and I could barely see him breathing.

"Whats wrong?" I looked over at him, holding his hand harder so he would get out of this.

"Visions", he said and covered his face with his hands.

"Visions...what do you mean?"

"You saw the future..."

"How do you know?" I asked as a gasp escaped my mouth.

"You can see the future"

"But, how? Why?"

He closed his eyes and tightened his jaw, "When a werewolf imprints onto you, you get a power. You got future telling. The future will appear in your dreams now."

Daniel got up and went over to a cabinet opening it. He grabbed a journal and handed it to me.

"After every dream you have, make sure that you write it down, okay?" I nodded my head and dragged my finger across the journal. It looked really old and it had the skin of an animal wrapped around it.

I rubbed my eyes and Daniel could tell that I was tired.

"Here, let me show you where you can sleep tonight." He grabbed my hand and led me to a brightly lit room.

"Thank you...for everything." I smiled and planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Where is she?" The vampire girl screeched.

"I dont know Lilly," Another vampire put his hand on his forehead.

"Marco, you must do something. I NEED blood."

"Sister, you have to calm down." Marco jumped into Jesse's room and started looking around. He saw a picture of her and gasped.

"She is simply beautiful..." He whispered to himself. He took the photo and tucked it away in his pocket. Marco jumped back down and shook his head. "She is not inside."

Lilly started yelling but Marco didnt pay attention, he thought of Jesse. She is so beautiful, so elegant.

"We cant hurt her", He shook his head.

"Marco...are you INSANE? We are going crazy! We need our daily dose and if we dont kill her now, father will be upset!"

"We can find someone else, we can get someone from school or something."

"You are such an idiot." Lilly jumped, turning into a bat. She flew away and Marco followed.

The sun was shining through the window hitting the me and I woke up. Daniel was standing in the doorway, being so quiet, afraid to wake me up.

"I made some food for you", he whispered and walked back into the hall. I got out of bed stretching my arms and legs and followed him. The smell of sausage filled the air and a huge smile spread across my face. I walked over to a table and there were bunnies, rats, and birds on a plate.

"Eat up", Daniel smile and I crinckled my nose and he laughed.

"What?" He asked and continued laughing.

"Is this what you eat?" I asked and shook my head gagging.

"Yeah, its actually really good believe it or not."

"Maybe for a wolf it is."

"Fine, okay, be the real weirdo. You can grab some fruit and bread while I have a real feast." He grinned and started eating.

I shook my head as the smell hit me and made a face. As I was walking back to the room, I grabbed an apple and made my way back.

"Oh so you wont eat with me?"

"Nope", I blew him a kiss and shut the door.

I fell onto the bed and spread my arms out, it was the craziest night of my entire life. Does my mom know that a werewolf "kidnapped" me? Does she even care? What about school, am I going? God knows what will happen, unfortunately I dont. Then it hit me, I can tell the future...Its the craziest thing. Suddenly there was a loud knock on the main door. I got up, tip toeing down the hall. Daniel was standing by the door, his whole body was frozen and I swallowed hard.

"They found us."

Hopefully this chapter makes up for the other ones. I figured I should make a long one that is over 1000 words! Afterall, it is chapter 10. I am sorry for not posting yesterday by the way, I was caught up in chores and church :) Hope you enjoyed this one.
