Bella wasn't shocked to see Jacob standing on the front porch of the Cullen house. She expected him to know vampires were in town. It was his job as Alpha to know and keep everyone safe.

"Jake." She called out and he was very happy to see her too. "You smell really bad." She said as she wrinkled her nose.

"You don't smell that great either." Jake retorted back. She in for a hug as he opened his arms for her. "Careful, or you will crush the life out of me." She moved back a little and invited him into the house.

"We are cleaning up the house. We are expecting visitors in less than 10 days." Bella told him. She would directly get to the point and won't beat around the bush. Jasper walked into the house with so many shopping bags, his arms would fall off if he wasn't a vampire. He dropped them all in the hall and sat down beside Bella and she leaned towards him sub-consciously.

"The Volturi are coming for us Jake. You said you will fight with me, for me when the time comes. I didn't want to ask this of you. I didn't want anyone else to be in danger. But the situation is dire. Will you fight with us?" She asked him.

"Bella, I stand by my word. We will fight against this so called vampire royalty. You are family and it is also our responsibility to keep everyone in town safe. I will convince the elders. The other wolves are itching for a fight and they also gave you their word that they will fight. So let me handle our side of this fight." Bella was grateful.

"You need to know there are going to be visiting vampires in town this next two months. We roughly estimated 2 months time before the Volturi is here for us. They won't hunt in town. They will hunt 2 or 3 states away and only hunt criminals as long as they are here, I promise." Bella also reassured him about everyone's safety, at least from death by becoming vampire food.

The first to arrive were none other than Carlisle and Esme. They wanted to be here to welcome the guests and everyone wanted Carlisle to be there to calm down the atmosphere if things got heated. Next to return were Em and Rose. Alice and Leo went and joined up with the Denali coven taking the 2 people she invited with her. They will arrive together.

Peter and Charlotte invited only 2 people but they were people who were experienced in fighting, someone who fought together with Jasper and Peter back in those days.

The next few days, the Denali coven, the Amazon coven and the Egyptian coven were all received by the Cullen family in Forks.

With the Denali coven, Amazons, Egyptians, the wolves and other friends they invited, there were a total of 35 people on their side and if they included themselves, there were a total of 45 people fighting this war.

The house was crowded. Esme cooked a lot to feed the wolves. She was for happy that once again there was someone she can cook for. She missed cooking for Bella. The pack was also having the time of their lives having food at hand's length to eat whenever they burned their energy after shifting.

Jasper started training everyone present with no exceptions in fighting. They had to use different techniques and tricks to fight different opponents. They were about to fight against Maria's newborns. Most people here had no experience fighting large groups of newborns. But they were also going to fight against the Volturi's gifted, older vampire who knew how to fight and use their gifts efficiently.

The two months that followed pushed everyone to their limits. There was tension in the air, fights erupted often. The space was sometimes too small to contain all 30 vampires without a fight breaking out over different views or inconsequential issues.

One month into training they heard one of the wolves stationed to guard howl and Jake shifted to find out what the matter was. After he turned back, he was solemn.
