Bella knew if the Volturi were really serious about her and sent their guard to catch her or kill her she would be dead in the blink of an eye. She also knew from the tales Carlisle told her that they were ruthless, manipulative and only took action when they were the ones to benefit in some way. If the Volturi were there on the day they killed Victoria and her new born vampires, they would have turned her and tied her to themselves long ago, as she displayed both her mental and physical shield. They wouldn't risk her slipping their net.

She knew that Victoria went to the Volturi. She knows that they know about her and they know she knows about the vampires. She was not sure if they knew anything else about her and the pack. They will come for her. She had a feeling that they will ask her to join their coven.

She knows that one human knowing about them is not a big deal as who would believe her if she tells anyone that the supernatural are real? They would call her a mad woman.

But she also had the gut feeling that even if they didn't hunt her down or come specifically looking for her, they would meet. That feeling, knowing that they were destined to meet in one way or other and that it may lead to a life and death fight was what made her leave Forks without any ties to the town.

As she left Forks she stayed at a small hotel in Spokane. Bella made arrangements to complete her Major online. She would not attend college. She asked if it was possible to get her degree online from the four colleges she was accepted in. She was now doing her major from California.

She spent 7 months in Spokane. She lived in a dingy little apartment one month after she arrived in the city. She worked in a bar as a waitress at night and in a small restaurant in the morning when she wasn't studying. She didn't want to use all the money on living accommodations and struggle later on. She wanted to use her card as little as possible. She didn't want to risk tracing of her transactions. The Volturi maybe old but she didn't know how up to date they were with the technology.

She spent whatever she earned and didn't touch the money savings or the insurance money.

It was when she was working at the bar she met him. Rick. He introduced himself as Rick anyway. He was a forger. She wasn't even sure if it was his real name. She would never know. She did ask the owner and the bar tender to help her find a forger. It wasn't like the bar was sophisticated high end bar. It was a small place where most of the illegal deals happened. She chose the place so that she could find help.

"Are you Violet?" He said as she placed his order on the table. She nodded her head.

"You are the one looking for a fake ID?" He asked as he looked her up and down.

"What is it to you?" She asked. "Well, I am the one who has to make them for you, so, of course I need the details and all."

They struck a conversation. She never did give her real name at the bar. She was Violet. She was the new waitress who kicked anyone's ass if they behaved improperly with her. She can fight and she wouldn't hesitate to show you what she can do.

They got along like a house on fire. They stuck a deal. He would forge a identity for her and teach her how to forge all kinds of documents, including leaving a trace in digital data. He would teach her how to backdate her documents and put them in the database so that all the bases are covered. She would teach him how to fight and protect himself and cooking. He needs a job to cover his own digital traces for the transactions for his forging. He needs to make the stubborn clients pay for the services they acquired.

Rick forged her an ID with name Camellia Violet Wilson, age 19. She got brand new driving license, passport, visa, birth certificates showing her birth place as a remote village somewhere no one would go look for details. She had graduation certificate from one of the colleges in Spokane. They forged the certificate in the school database along with the physical copy.

She stayed for seven months. She took her first semester exams. She learnt forging, cleaning and leaving digital data and footprints, and mixing drinks. She learnt about all kinds of alcohols.

She left without a good bye or by your leave to anyone. The owner of the bar knew she would leave one day when she asked for a forger, but she didn't expect Violet to leave without a word. Rick was even more shocked. The day before she left was the last cooking lesson she told him. He can work in a restaurant and learn the rest.

She disappeared from Spokane.
