The next month, the pack found Bella and Paul everywhere they went all over each other. They both knew this wasn't permanent. They knew he will imprint and she will find someone. But they were enjoying what they had with out shame.
When they weren't together and doing some other stuff, they were thinking of each other's bodies. They were unbearable to others.
Bella spent equal amount of time both with her father watching games and with the pack doing whatever caught their fancy. She went cliff diving from the shortest available cliff and decided it wasn't for humans.
It was when she and Emily went grocery shopping that she noticed something.
"Manner less brutes." Emily muttered to herself.
"What happened Em?" She asked her looking confused as to whom she was scolding.
"Those boys there," she motioned with her head. "They are talking trash about us, even though it is clear one of us is engaged." She replied.
Bella was curious. She knew she couldn't hear what they were saying but Emily could. She decided to talk about it once they were back at Sam's.

"Meeting." She told Sam as soon as they were through the door. It was time to get serious. They were just running patrol and making a small effort to learn self defense but nothing else. They have to put in their all and a little more.
As everyone gathered, and made themselves comfortable, she sat on Paul's lap but hit his hand away from her ass.
"Not now. I have to discuss something very important." She chastised him.
"Burn." Quil and Embry called.
"Finally, some peace." Jake, Emily and Kim joked. But once the laughter died down, everyone became serious.
"I noticed something in the store today." She started. "About Emily." Sam and Emily tensed frightened about what it could be.
"Relax, it isn't anything bad... Just odd." She said and they relaxed a little.
" She commented on a pair of boys who she said were talking trash about us. She heard them when they were murmuring amongst themselves when I couldn't." She said. They looked clueless and so, Bella got exasperated.
"Are you really that dumb?" She asked them. "I think she got the super wolf senses and that is how she could hear them when I couldn't."
Realization and doubt dawned on everyone's faces.
"How can you say that?" Sam asked. And the others nodded. "There was never anything like this mentioned in the legends."
"Sam, the legends are incomplete. And in the legends, they only told us till where they were first got the wolf form and never the consequences of it or how it effected the imprints, their kids or anyone else."
"That is true but...." Sam started.
"Don't just believe or disagree with my theory, let's test it out." Bella advised. She was getting excited. She was the one who put forward the theory and she wanted to know if it was true.
"Okay."
"Now, all the imprints, I want you to come here and tell me if you feel any different from before and let me test this." Bella started.
The first test was the easiest. Bella and all the imprints along with Colin and Brady went out the door. They kept walking until Bella couldn't hear the normal voices that the pack was using inside the house. Then she told the boys to go reducing the sounds they were making and made the imprints walk until they couldn't hear the notices inside.
Emily, Crystal, Colin and Brady were the only ones far out. They could hear as clearly as the boys.
It at least proved part of her theory. Now, to find out what the other two got.
Next tests were for smell and sight. Amelia got the awesome sight and smell senses.
Kim was an athlete in school and they decided to test for speed next. Kim and Emily got the super speed.
Next one was even easier she tested everyone for body heat and found that no one got it. But she didn't expect it either way. It was a running theory that the heat was because of all the fur in their wolf form converted in their human forms. As the imprints had no fur she didn't expect then to emit any heat.
"I think we should stop here for today." Jared said but the girls protested. They were enjoying this. They liked that they too got something, it being useful or not wasn't on their mind.
"There are only three more things to test for then you are free to go." Bella said. She was making all these tests with the help of Leah, Brady and Jake. The ones with no mates who were having fun as well.
"What are they?" Sam asked suspicious of the smile Bella was giving them.
"Super healing, super strength and if they have any gifts."
"Gifts?" Jared asked.
"Yeah, I actually got this idea from the vampires." Bella said which got resounding growls.
"Oh shut up. Its just a theory and an idea. I am not telling you to associate with them. Geez." She snapped at them.
"Now listen," she said as they were relaxing after a short food break. "When humans are turned into vampires, it is said that they carry their most prominent and dominant trait into their after life. Alice could see glimpses of future when she was human which was what got enhanced and carried over." She took a deep breath, thinking.
"After the imprint, they got some of your traits, the wolf is protecting it's imprint any way it can, giving them part of its traits where it felt they were lacking in." This could actually be correct, the pack thought. "So, what if, along with giving a part of its traits, it also strengthened something already present, like when I mentioned the transition into after life."
"So, you are saying, that if one of them had a small 'gift' it is strong now and maybe noticeable, they can use it consciously?" Bella nodded her head.
"But don't get your hopes up. It is rare enough to have gifted vampires. So I don't think any of you may have a gift." She shrugged. "It was just a theory."
"Let me get this straight", Paul said trying to understand. "The wolf strengthened what it thought were weak spots along with the strongest trait they have."
"Yes. " Bella said smiling. "Let's get this over with." Kim and Crystal were the ones with the strength almost equal to the wolves.
Healing was where the fight began. The wolves didn't want us to harm the girls and the girls were adamant to know of any of them had super healing.
In the end, it was Jake who offered a solution. Bella, Jake, Leah and Paul made a small cut on the arm for the girls and Seth cut Sam while Colin and Brady took the time taken to heal.
All of them took twice the time Sam took to heal but faster than any human could. The cut would take a week to heal on a human and they healed it in ten minutes and Sam took five.
Everyone was overjoyed.

Once they got off the high of having something, they sat down to talk again.
"You should teach us how to fight against anyone and how to use what each of them have." Bella said. "We may find if they have a gift when we are fighting." Well that certainly did excite them all again.
