Bella was panicking. She had two weeks to leave Forks and she would do it. She would settle everything and try to never come back. She brought down the boxes from the attic and was packing each and everything in the house except the furniture and some bare minimums. She started with cleaning the hall of all the blood and making it impeccable. Even though the scene was cleared and cleaned she could still see it. So she scrubbed every surface of the hall.

She packed all the photos, trinkets, and stuff into one box from all the rooms, including Charlie's. Every time she entered the room to clear out something she was packing, she would stop, sit on his bed staring blankly at the walls and cry her heart out, but she kept going.

She started as soon as she was up from her nightmare. She knew what was coming for her. She knew she had no chance. By dinner time, when Leah came to pick her up, she packed up the living room, kitchen and Charlie's room and was almost finished with hers leaving the bare necessities out for the next week or so before she left.

"Bella?" Leah called from the living room waiting for her sister to get down the stairs. As she was waiting for her to get down she looked around and found the kitchen and living room practically empty. As she saw Bella descend, there was only one question on her mind.

"Bells, what are you doing? Why is everything.. gone?" She asked motioning around her.

"Let's go, we.. need to speak." She said in grave tone.

"Did you eat anything at all today?" Leah asked as they were locking up. She shook her head. She didn't have time for eating. She was busy doing other things, important things.

"Let's just go." They drove in silence to the rez. As they went to Sam's house, it seemed everyone was already there. But it was no surprise, they all needed comfort right now and they were seeking it from each other.

"Bells? You alright?" It was a pointless question. No one was alright or fine or okay. But she nodded her head anyway.

"Food first. She didn't eat anything today." Leah snapped at Jared who asked the question. Emi placed a plate of lasagna in front of her and she dutifully finished it to the soothing sounds of everyone around her eating too and talking at least a little.

As she looked up from her plate she saw expectant faces looking at her. She sighed. She has to get this over with.

"I am leaving." She announced. It was so full of noise all of a sudden. Everyone was asking question at a time and saying she can't leave yet. She was starting to feel the beginning of a head ache.

"Everyone quiet." Sam shouted in his alpha voice and they all shut up at once.

"Bella, you can't go. Victoria may be dead but you heard what that leech said, someone is coming for you and you are still in danger." Sam said as calmly as he could manage at the moment with all the distress and sadness over whelming him.

"Okay. Listen to me carefully because I am not going to repeat it again. No one will interrupt me." She said and glared at everyone to emphasize her point. Brady was in a bad state than the others were as he was the youngest and the only one his age died in front of his eyes, fighting beside him. He was sitting cuddled with the pack surrounding him smack dab in the center.

"Do you know who the Volturi are?" It was a rhetoric question as she knew they didn't actually know. "They are practically the royalty of the vampire world. They rule the vampires, pass laws and are the Judge, Jury and Executioners of any vampires and humans. They... I know of two rules they are strict about and will sentence the person or persons to death to, if they are broken." She was gathering her thoughts as she was explaining this. She looked at everyone while giving them the impromptu history lesson. "One, no telling humans and if you do, you either kill them or turn them. Two, you do not trespass on another's territory. And the unspoken rule, if you kill one mate, you kill the other."
