All Of Us Are Dead

Part 7

 I stood next to the window, staring at the walls while Gyeong-su sat in his chair, swaying around in it with a numb look on his face. "So, what happened to your hand?", I ask him suddenly, moving around to where I was in front of him.

He sighed, "I scraped it but of course, the snobby bitch outside has to get her way.", I hold back a chuckle, slightly tilting my head to see Cheong-san looking at me while Su-hyeok stayed in the back, looking at him with a weird look on his face, almost like he was heartbroken or.. jealous? I waved at him, which he returned slightly before I turned back to my brother and crouched in front of him with a goofy look, making him chuckle.

I smiled, "Listen, if I do turn into one of those things, she'll be the first person I go after.", I tell him proudly, holding my hand up beside my head and tilting my head back just a bit. "You won't turn. I forbid it.", he says with a serious look on his face. I sigh and stand up, "Sorry.. thought it'd be a little funny."

"It was but not the zombie part.", he looked down at his hands and continued working on whatever it was he was working on. "How long are you staying in here for?"

"Maybe an hour.", he huffed, not looking up at me. I nodded and went backwards towards the wall, leaning back against it as Mrs Park walked in.  Everyone went to the window and started looking in as she spoke to us, "You know you can come out now, right?", she said to him mainly, maybe cause she thought I would be coming out already. 

He looked back and saw everyone staring at him before turning back to her, "No, I'm staying in here."

"Same.", I hold my hand up while she turns to look at me, "Why are you?"

I look to my brother, "Family sticks together. Besides, I don't wanna be out there with the crybaby.", I state proudly, rolling my eyes and crossing my arms. She sighs and nods, "We'll be waiting for you guys outside.", Mrs Park tells us before turning and walking away, out the door, then shutting it. "You should've went out there."

"Are you kidding me, Gyeong-su? We're family. If you're staying in here then so am I.. don't complain about it cause I'm not changing my mind.", I walk in front of him and flick his forehead, making him groan and rub it, after slapping my hand away. I chuckle and walk away towards the door, piering out of it only to jump back when Su-hyeok jumps in front of it with a smile on his stupid face.

I smile and wave at him since he probably couldn't hear me through the door, "Hey.", he mouths to me before putting his palm against the door. I raise an eyebrow and look at him, making him look to his hand with his eyebrows raised then to my hand, which made me giggle. I put my palm against the door which would've been against his if the glass didn't get in the way. 

He smiled through the door at me, "I miss ya'll..", I mouth to him slowly. He nodded in understanding until his head turned the other direction where everyone else was, then he turned to me and pulled his hand away, waving goodbye, before he left. I sighed and pulled my hand away, then walked back to my brother. 

I sat down next to his chair and let my head fall limp against it, as he lowered his hand and began playing with my hair, gently. After about a minute, the door opened, making me turn my head to see the crybaby walking in slowly, "Ugh..", I groan quietly.

She walks up to us as I turn my head around, letting it fall against his chair again as he looks forward but pays attention to her steps, "Hey.", she says suddenly as she stops beside me and him. "I'm talking to you guys.", neither of us say anything for a minute before I push myself up and onto my feet, then turn to her, "We didn't ask you to speak to us.", I spit at her.

Surprisingly, she backs up a little bit in fear after I said that, then clears her throat and speaks again, "I was just talking to him. Is he ignoring me?"
