Chapter 6 - Powerful

Third person POV

Valentina and Marco were sitting in his office drinking wine and talking.

"There is no way that isn't our daughter", Valentina says taking a long sip of her wine. "I know" Marco replies quietly, he was deep in thought.

"Its weird we looked for her for years and then weave up thinking that she was killed and now as if by chance comes right into our lives", Marco said rubbing his chin violently.

"Darling relax, we thought she was dead", Valentina says grabbed her husbands hand to stop him from rubbing his chin raw. "I know but we should have known, you always told me you felt like she was alive and I didn't trust you I just brushed you off", Macro replied looking down in shame.

Suddenly their eldest son Nicholas burst in threw the office door and shut it quietly. He had a smile from ear to ear on his face. "Its her isn't it, it's our Emilia", he said and his parents nodded at him.

"I will get a hair strand to do a DNA test just incase but I have no doubt it isn't her", Marco says standing up and walking to the table on the other side of the room to refill his wine glass.

"Okay but we are keeping her right, we can all agree she is coming here to live with us", Nicholas said. "Obviously", Marco replies as if it was obvious. But Valentine sat in her seat, looked down and shook her head. Why you talking about keeping her as if she were a dog

"We can't do that to her", Valentina said with sadness in her eyes. Both of the men looked at her with their mouths open because out of everyone in the family they expected her to be the one who wanted to keep Emilia here.

"You don't want our sister back?", Aaron says quietly while entering with Rodrigo. "Its not that", Valentina says.

"She has a family who she grew up with, we cannot just rip her away from them and also you heard what she said she thinks we left her on that woman door step and didn't want her, she probably hates us", Valentina says with tears now in her eyes. Marco walks over to comfort his wife.

"Once we explain she won't hate us", Aaron said still having hope in his eyes. "She is our sister I will not live without her anymore", Nicholas says angrily.

"watch your tone boy", Marco says giving him an angry glare.

"This is what we will do-", Marco says and everyone looks at him straight away. "-we are going to invite her family over for dinner, to see what they are like and then after we will choose how to tell her we are her real family and once that is finished she will be the one to decide if she wants to come join us or stay with her aunt", he says and everyone in the room gets angry even Aaron.

"No I want her here, we are her family", Aaron says and Nicholas nods his head in agreement. "She will choose us, I saw how you all were watching the movie, she was already comfortable with you guys despite being shy", Valentina saying blowing her nose.

"Okay so before she leaves tomorrow make sure you get her aunts phone number so we can invite them over for dinner Sunday night", Marco says and his wife nods in agreement.

"perfect", everyone says at the same time.

"I don't think she should come here, we should just leave her alone to live her life peacefully", Rodrigo finally spoke up after being quiet the whole time. Everyone turned to him and looked at him with mixed emotions of shock and anger.

"What", Aaron says with his jaw practically on the floor.

"I don't want my baby sister getting hurt because of our family business", Rodrigo says. "Thats enough", Marco says putting his hand up to stop his sons nonsense.
