🍎Carving Roses [Epel X Reader]

It was lunch time in Night Raven College and you were eating with your friend group(Ace, Deuce, etc.). They were enjoying their meals when a ruckus started up all of a sudden.

"Ugh so loud..." Ace complained as he tried to block the noise by covering his ears.

You looked to where the noise was from and you saw that a whole crowd has bunched together near the table where your Pomefiore friends sat. Listening closely, you heard a few phrases that were brown around by the students.

"Amazing!"

"Wahhh~ Epel! You're really talented!"

"Hey Epel, how about carving a bird next?"

Carving? What could Epel be carving? Wood? Curious, you got up from your seat and joined the crowd. You somehow managed to pushed through the crowd and get to the front and you understood why they were complimenting Epel.

He was skillfully carving an apple into a little swan and you couldn't help but become mesmerized by it.

"Epel, that's beautiful..." It looked so beautiful that you randomly blurted your thoughts out. You quickly covered your mouth in embarrassment since you realized that now Epel, Rook and Vil were all staring at you. Vil just nodded at you as a greeting and you nodded back to him. Rook on the other hand...

"Oh! Bonjour monsieur/mademoiselle! Have you come to watch Monsieur Cherry Apple do his apple carving?" Rook greeted you, in a loud voice too, which caused the crowd to divert their attention to you, but you simply chose to ignore them.

"Hello to you too Rook. As for your question, I guess so since I was curious what was going on here." You replied. Epel kept on staring at you, stopping what he was doing and you decided to talk to him.

"Hello Epel, your carving looks beautiful." You complimented his carving.

"You think so? I was trying to make a swan and I don't know if it looks great..." He quietly said to you as he looked up to your face while sitting in his seat.

"Mhm! The swan is really really pretty! The shape of the wings are appealing to the eyes and the neck and head looks really cute too!" You sat down next to him while you were giving out compliments and believe it or not Epel's admiration for you grew even more.

By now the crowd had already dispersed as it didn't interest them anymore, so you were just with the three Pomefiore students that are at the table with you. Oh and btw, you completely forgot about your own table group in that moment. They didn't seem to mind that you were gone though.

"Ah, then would you like to watch me continue?" He questioned which in responses you vigorously nodded your head which sort of startled the three Pomefiore students with the force and speed you were nodding your head with.

Epel laughed and continued working on his swan for the remainder of lunch. Towards the end, you asked him a question.

"Say, Epel, could you also teach me how to carve apples?" You looked at the finish product and it looked amazing.

"Hm? Oh sure... we can meet at Pomefiore on Friday." Epel slightly nodded at you since barely anyone every asked him to teach them how to carve apples. Don't get him wrong though, he's really happy right now that you asked.

"Yay! Then I'll see you on Friday, Epel! Imma go now so bye everyone!" You waved at all three of them and left for your next class.

"My my Monsieur Cherry Apple, could you possible like them?" Rook questioned him. Vil only glared at him for asking such a question.

"W-what?! What makes you think that?!" Epel jumped out of his seat and stood at the table now. The color red is slowly taking over his face as he's trying to find excuses to Rook's question.
