♦️News and Revenge [Cater X F!Reader]

Now what? What the heck do I do? Where do I start? I stared at the blank white screen in front of me, not knowing what I should do. Biting my lips I started to regret even suggesting this idea to the headmaster.

•Flashback•

"You really think this is a good idea?" Crowley sat pondering in his chair in his office.

"Yeah, totally, I mean have you seen the students in the hallways? Literally everyone is glued to their devices. Especially the Ignihyde students, you basically see them with electronics everyday day 24/7. Plus, having it on digital means that the public can also see it." I was trying to convince Crowley that the school newspaper was boring and that NRC needed a new way of delivering news. I mean, first of newspapers take a long time to print so many things would already be outdated. Second, who even has time to pick up a batch of paper that they probably won't even read?

"Hmm... I see. Then since I am oh so gracious, I will put you in charge of making a website for our school for news in replacement of regular newspapers. Now off you go." He shooed me away and I ran back to Ramshackle Dorm to get started on my laptop.

•Flashback Ends•

Yeah...what a great idea. I've got the website set up and the basic layouts done but I don't know to add because I'm not caught up with trends. I could ask Vil, but then he's probably busy. Idia might also be a good option if not for the fact that I have to write about what's currently happening in school. Oh right, there's Cater. He's a pretty laid back person who's also addicted to social media, he might know what to do. I picked up my phone and dialed his number.

"Hey prefect! It's not so often you call me first, what's up?"

"Yeah could you come over to my dorm please? I need help with setting up a school blog."

"Ooooh a school blog! I got you, coming over right now, bye sweets!"

He always calls me some sort of nickname, not that I mind. A few moments passed and he arrived at my door. I opened it and let him inside and we went into my room together and both sat on the bed where my laptop was. I explained to him the situation and we started working right away.

"How about making the blog about current things happening in NRC? Like food or fashion trends among the students, maybe a little gossip?" He suggested with a smirk and I only smacked him in the head a little. He let out a little yelp which was cute but I'm not going to tarnish somebody's reputation due to gossip.

"So we can make the blog about current events that are popular within the school and I'll also add a little introduction to the website in case the public stumbles upon this page. I'll also make like a staff list, describing the staff and probably also a featured page, where I can feature people or things that people have done like artwork, poems, etc." I turned and explained to Cater. He had his mouth opened as if in shock so I simply closed it with my fingers.

"Omg! That's a splendid idea! Oh! Oh! For the featured page, could I be on it?"

"Not a chance Diamond." I haven't even set the thing up yet and this man's already asking to be featured. Patience my man, patience.

"Awwww..." he went quiet after that and I just went straight to work.

While setting up the website Cater showed me a few things I could add on such as Vil's new makeup that he made and a few of his fashion magazines from modeling. He even showed me some currently trendy food from Mostro Lounge and basically every other thing that he's seen trending on Magicam. They were actually pretty good things to add in. Not only does it tell you about the student's lives here it also shows off the school itself a little.
