🦁 Our Pride [Leona X Reader]

Imagine everyone's surprise when the Savanaclaw dorm has been pretty neutral recently. If you told people that Savanaclaw became a gentlemanly dorm, they'd be laughing all day. Except that wasn't the case because now the students from Savanaclaw all of a sudden became...even more mannerful than those from Pomefiore and Octavinelle?

How did this happen? People might say since Leona never does anything but laze around. If you ask any Savanaclaw student, they'll all say that it was the work of their dorm leader's significant other. And who was that significant other? That was you.

Your personality was so kind and forgiving to the point where others in Savanaclaw saw you as their parental figure. You would help them no matter how small the problems were, you would always get them whatever they want, and somehow you're still able to get along with the usually tough and mean students in the dorm. At first Leona sort of found your personality annoying but he can't really say that anymore since that's why he fell for you. Being able to take care of his dorm is an outstanding achievement and the lion will always praise you for doing so. As long as he gets to use you as his lap pillow, you're allowed to do as you'd like around the dorm.

It was lunch right now and you would regularly sit with the Savanaclaw students. After all, you've developed a habit of taking care of them.

"You guys, I'll be paying for your food today alright?" You told them with a smile. They looked at you in surprise since there's like a whole table filled with students.

"Oh no need to do that, prefect (Y/N)! We can take care of that ourselves!" One of them had replied instantaneously. You shook your head no and quickly stood up from your seat.

"No no I insist! I know how tired you guys are after this morning's Magift practice and I simply wish for you guys to relax so no need to worry." You waved at them and went to the lunch line to get everyone's food

"Prefect (Y/N)..." One of them murmured. There were grateful tears coming out of their eyes.

"Guys, we must protect our mother/father!" One of them had declared. The whole table agreed. Whoever dares to mess with you would have to answer to the whole of Savanaclaw now.

A certain lion heard about the news of you buying everyone their food and was sulking that you didn't get him something to eat. Instead it was Ruggie that gave him food.

"Leona~ are you that jealous that they didn't get anything for you? Shishishishishi" Ruggie snickered at the Leona whose body was facing a tree in the garden.

"Shut it, Ruggie." Leona gritted his teeth, clearly showing signs of jealousy. How come you didn't get anything for him but you paid for everyone else?

"Aw c'mon Leona! I'm sure that they'll have some sort of surprise for you! You know that they love you too much! Even the rest of the dorm knows it!" Ruggie tried to comfort the sulking lion and somehow it worked as Leona hugged and began to walk out the garden.

"I'm gonna go find the herbivore now." Leona said in an angry tone, even though his tail said otherwise. It was wagging back and forth like a puppy. Ruggie only stayed behind and laughed at his dorm leader trying so hard to hide his true emotions.

As of right now you were walking to your next class with was PE. Coincidentally, there was a joint class today and a bunch of Savanaclaw students were there. You waved at them with a bright smile and they did the same back. As usual, Vargas decided it was a good idea to make everybody run 100 laps and that had everybody tired at the end of the period.

"Good job everyone! Here's some water for you guys!" You ran up to the Savanaclaw students, offering them bottles of water to which they gratefully accepted. The students that had tails were wagging them back and forth happily and those who didn't, well you could already feel the happiness radiating off of them.

"Heh, look at the Ramshacjle prefect taking care of those bunches of babies." A student not far off said. This didn't go unnoticed by you and the Savanaclaw students as all of you looked towards the person.

"Excuse me?" You told the student as you turned around to face them.

"I said, you're a bunch of babies! Who would've though that the whole of Savanaclaw known to be tough turned soft all because of you!" The student began mocking you which offended you and also offended the group of Savanaclaw students behind you. They started to growl and death glare at the student, clearly showing that they haven't gone soft. The student could only stumble back in fear, regretting what he said, however he bumped into someone while trying to run away.

"Oof!"

"Gone 'soft' huh?" The poor student looked up only to find the glare of an angry lion staring him down.

"U-uh I-I, I-I'm Sorry!" The student helped out as he started to tear up as everyone was glaring at him like predators setting their sites on a prey.

"Oh that's fine! As long as you don't say that again to anyone you'll be fine!" You forgave the student due to your personality of just being THAT kind. The rest of Savanaclaw looked at you, totally flabbergasted that you would let this person go. After the student was gone, they were surprised again with what you said.

"Honestly, I was about to lunge myself at him for saying these things to my family." You said in a low angry tone and your face scrunched up as the student ran off into the distance. Perhaps it was parental instincts that you remained calm and dealt with the situation peacefully. Now, a certain lion had finally made his way towards you and dragged you off with him.

You two arrived at his dorm and both of you sat together on the balcony in his room. Leona was hugging you from behind and you leaned into him. Both of you were just staring at the sun which was now setting and showing off its beautiful orange hue.

"You didn't have to stop him y'know. We could've solved the problem by ourselves." Leona said, putting his chin on your head.

"Well, you know violence isn't always the answer right? Plus, it was still solved in the end and no one got hurt so I don't see what's the problem." You smiled.

"Mmmm true..." Leona mumbled and then huffed, "but still, I don't like how that little herbivore treated you like that."

"Hmm well, it's not like we can't deal with these problems y'know. After all aren't we all one whole Pride?" You lifted your head to look at Leona behind you and you could see that his ears perked up a little.

"A Pride huh? Heh, I guess so, maybe I can promote your name from Herbivore." He smirked at you, his tail wagging behind him.

"Leona! You jerk!" You playfully hit him and he playfully hit you back. This started a play fight between the two of you two.

Although it looked like you guys had privacy, the students of Savanaclaw were sort of stalking you two from the distance. Seeing the interactions between their dorm leader and his loved one gave them a sudden feeling of happiness. You love them with all your heart and in return, they'll protect you with all their might. After all, you guys are a Pride.
