30. The Lie

Jungkook gritted his teeth and pushed Jimin away harshly once he understood what Jimin just did. Luckily it was not the side of his scent gland. But hell, there was no way it wouldn't effect him anything even when the tiniest bit of Omega's smell drives him crazy.

Jimin smirked and stood up, leisurely looking at the Alpha who looked very much displeased and angered, which should scare him. Because he wouldn't even stand for two seconds against the Alpha if he decides to kill him out of anger. But Jimin wouldn't have come here if feared death in the first place.

"What the hell!!! How dare you....", Jungkook growled and in a whim he grabbed the Omega by his neck. His hand easily wrapping around the Omega's delicate neck and Jimin was concerned that it was gonna leave some marks.

"For a big mouth like yours, you are really dumb.", Jimin's smug expressions were making Jungkook even more angry. He let out a low growl while his grip around Jimin's neck tightened making Jimin let out a small cough.

He almost pulled Jimin above by his neck before harshly pushing him away making Jimin stumble on the dirty ground beneath. He grabbed his own long hair in frustration and looked at the Omega who stood up while shrugging his clothes.

"Because of you, I can't get close to my own mate. So isn't it only fair that it should happen to you too...", He smiled mockingly and it enraged Jungkook.

"I might just fucking kill you...", He stated and Jimin let out an airy laugh.

"Do it. Did you really think if you start messing up with my emotions, I will submit like any other Omega? If you kill me right now, I won't be dying without a fight back. And do you think you would get away with killing me... If you kill me right now, I'm sure my mate will arrange to kill you along with your nasty leader and whole rogue pack and hang you on the border of Busan....", Jimin tipped his nose high even though he was hardly even reaching the Alpha's face. But there was no hint of any fear. He knew he was bragging too much about Lisa. But he can, right? Afterall he is a Luna. His death won't be taken lightly, would it?

Even if the bite Jimin had given to Jungkook wasn't a deep enough to leave a permanent mark, nor Jungkook was pained by it. He had worse wounds than this. It was the humiliation, which pained.

"Do you really think your Alpha care for you enough to go against my pack?", Jungkook gave a pointed glare to Omega. That glare made Jimin doubt the things he said for a second. He felt his thoughts wavering. But he didn't let his posture waver. He held his head high and bore his eyes into the others.

"Yes."

"Then I should start messing with you for real now... Since you're not any other Omega and won't back down easily, let's play for real now."

By the time Jimin was back, it was almost dawn.

He didn't care about anyone seeing him, since he knew the schedule by heart now. He was conscious enough to know that he was reeking with Jae-hwan's scent. So he used the scarf which was scented by Lisa and had rubbed it all over his scent gland. He didn't know how much did it work, but he was okay for now. He just have to slip inside and take bath before he is visited by any maid.

His train of thoughts was broken when suddenly a hand wrapped around his arm and he was pulled to a chest. The withered musk scent filled his nose, he was beyond scared.

"Where the fuck are you coming from!?", Lisa growled on his face and Jimin went stoic. Her scent was already overbearing for him, which he was trying to hold it in.

There was a lingering faint scent on Jimin which didn't belong to her. Although there was her scent but the other was just very undeniable. Jimin tried to hold his own scent at bay by controlling his emotions. He was doing this for so long that he had mastered in controlling his scent.

She buried her nose in his neck and immediately winced at the strong Alpha smell. She pulled away immediately and slapped Jimin hard.

Jimin was left shocked when she did this. He clenched his hand on his cheek which would be bruising soon. He looked at her face with pained expressions but held himself from crying.

"Who was it? WHO'S THE DAMN ALPHA YOU WERE ALL OVER!!", Jimin flinched away from her but her firm grip held him in place.

"DON'T YOU HAVE VOICE!?", She screamed. Jimin could smell a whole different Omega's lingering arousal on her which was yet to be faded.

Hypocrite.

Jimin scowled internally. But he tried keeping his face straight. Although he was deeply hurt by her behaviour, he could not let falter his facade.

"I-I wasn't with any Alpha. I had visited the shrine in forest and when I was climbing the stairs I had slipped. A kind alpha just helped me from falling and comforted me.", Jimin didn't know where all that lie came from but before knew, he had spoken it. Lisa just stared at him wordlessly. Her expressions unreadable. Jimin shivered.

"If it's that simple Omega, then you're lucky. If not... then you know what will happen."

Jimin was sitting in his bedchambers thinking back on all the events that took place in few hours.

First the Alpha he had sneaked out to meet with. His counter attack on him. Then him smelling like that Alpha. Lisa's behaviour towards him despite herself was not clean either. And most of all, even after Jae-hwan being so mean, his Omega still craved for him.

He just didn't know what was happening... Or what will happen. In midst of this, the door opened and in came a familiar figure that broke Jimin's thoughts. Jimin stood up in surprise.

"Beomgyu? Oh my god!! Where were you!!?? I was so worried!!", Jimin said as he came towards him in hurried strides and suddenly hugged him. Beomgyu melted at this display of affection by their Luna. Even if he was just a servant, Jimin cared for him and actually was worried for him. Seeing this his heart was filled with warmth.

"I am fine Luna. I was gone for some work. I had to go without informing you... I'm sorry...", Beomgyu apologized. He purposefully avoided from telling the truth. He didn't want to take some Rogue's side. Not when their Queen was the first one to blame for his sudden disappearance.

"I'm glad... As long as you're fine.", Jimin smiled.

"But Luna... Did something happen?"

"What do you mean?", Jimin looked in confusion at Beomgyu.

"I just heard that her highness had ordered to check if you had visited the shrine. And she has also ordered to find the Alpha with forest dew scent and bring him so that she would kill them."
