On our way, I noticed how some guys were ogling Daisy in the hot pink shorts she had on. I even heard some of the comments they gave about her beauty and how hot she looked.
Are you Jealous? A voice said.
"What! No! I'm not" I shouted, but it wasn't loud enough to be heard by Daisy who had walked a few steps ahead of me.
"Wow! Those look good on you." I crossed my arms over my chest and continued to stare at the Hot girl in the pink swimsuit in front of me.
"Thanks!" She said.
I touched the water and it was warm since the day wasn't really hot.
The cool blue tiles of the swimming pool, enhanced the color of the water in the pool. The water was blue as the sky and clear as crystal.
The cool blue water of the pool was soothing to the eye and refreshing to the mind.
I sat on the summer-bench, relaxed as ever, but Daisy was diving deep in the water.
After some minutes of swimming alone, she splashed some water on me, as I looked lost in my reveries. Not thinking of anything particularly, just relaxing.
"Are you coming in or not?" She asked still splashing the water on me, making my body wet.
I stood up from the lazy chair and run for shelter. I didn't say anything; I just stood there giggling.
"You're really good at this." I said and walked back to the edge of the pool.
"This? You mean swimming?" Daisy asked wiping the water off her face with her hand.
I nodded.
"I used to take swimming lessons when I was little. Not that I wanted to but my mum would force me."
Whenever I refuse to go, she'd drag me there and say 'Someday this swimming skills might come in handy, and that's when you'd thank me'." She plastered a smile on her face, and I did too.
"Have you been working out? Your body seem to be in perfect shape." Daisy said and swam closer to me, when I removed the black T-shirt I had on.
Oh my God! She finally noticed my new ripped Abs.
I had been working out, home-workouts of course, ever since she said "Well I wish" about Jack. I wanted to look more of a crush than him, so I had to improve on somethings Jack didn't have, and one was a ripped Abs, and a broad chest.
I was shirtless, exposing my broad chest and ripped Abs. The muscles on my hands looked bigger and stronger now.
"Are you literally saying you've been checking me out." I smiled.
"What! I'm not." She shook her head.
"Well, it looks like you still are."
Daisy laughed and splashed more water on me.
"In case you haven't noticed, I do a quick workout in the bedroom every time before showering."
"Well, good for you."
"Anyway, are you getting in or not? You already look wet." she shouted and pointed to the water, which was getting warmer, as the blazing sun rose.
What! How did she know I'm wet?
Idiot! She meant wet-wet and not wet--wet. My tiny inner voice shouted.
That didn't even make sense.
"I'm really not a good swimmer, but wouldn't refuse a swimming lesson from a hot girl like you?" I said, still smiling.
"I'm taking that as a compliment. Now get in." she said and returned the smile.
I finally jumped into the pool, deliberately splashing water on her.
Well I was indeed a bad swimmer, as I almost drowned from a deep diving I tried.
With her help, I was able to stay on balance on my own in the water, after receiving some swimming lessons and tips.
And after about forty minutes of swimming, we both looked jaded, and needed a break.
We sat on the sun-lounger, and were served with some sneaky Tequila Cocktail. The taste of the juice was irresistible, and we ordered for more glasses.
"Can we continue with our conversations now?" I asked, after we were both done with two glasses of the Tequila already, and were halfway through a third glass.
"Okay."
She took a long slurp and placed the glass which was half filled with Tequila on the table.
"I clearly remember the day that happened; It was a Wednesday, on July18th. I was returning from lectures in the afternoon driving my car when I was suddenly blocked by another car on the road. I thought the person had gotten a problem with his car, but after almost a minute, no one got down from the car, which was surprising, so I started honking continuously to get the person's attention." She drew in a long breath and rubbed her hands together.
"I was still seated in my car, honking really loud when two men who were covered in ugly face masks got down from the car and walking towards me. That was when I sensed danger, and I immediately got down to run, since the road was blocked, and I knew turning back would take minutes.
"They run after me really fast and I couldn't match their speed. They got hold of me and sent me into their car. I struggled with all the joules of energy left in my body but failed to escape their tight grip. They tried every means possible to keep my mouth shut, but I never did. This infuriated them and the last thing I remembered was, seeing one of the guys inject me with a green liquid he took from one container; I felt calm and sober as ever, and they took me away."
"I'm really sorry about that, Daisy." I flung my arm over her shoulder.
She gave a half grin, but couldn't look me in the eye.
At this time, I wasn't interested in any other thing, but only wanted to know what happened to Daisy after she was kidnapped.
"So what happened after they took you?" I asked, still rubbing her shoulder.
"This is one part of the story I wouldn't like to talk about." She cringed.
"Tell me whenever you're ready, I'll wait." I said.
"I'm ready."
"I don't want to put pressure on you, Daisy."
"I said I'm ready to tell you. I'm ready to let it out of me for good." She shouted, and tears filled her eyes.
It seem there was nothing I could do to stop her; all I could do was to sit, and listen to her.
"When I came back to consciousness, I was surrounded by a group of guys whom I think were four in number, and this time around I could see their ugly and shitty faces, but seeing their faces wasn't the center of attention for me, as I realized I only had my underwear on; I was almost naked, with both my hands and legs locked in chains in that filthy garage." She paused.
Daisy tried to hold the tears, but she couldn't, as it trickled down her cheeks. She took the face towel she brought along, and wiped them away.
I didn't speak. I still sat there, starring directly at her with a puffy eye, and a clenched jaw; Mixture of sadness and anger written all over my face.
