"Mirandaaaa" Ben called behind her

"I don't want to hear it" She said without turning around.

Ben began to follow her. "And don't follow me" With that she was grabbing her keys and was out of the door.

"Damn it!" Ben Yelled. He knew he messed up, but what was he going to do? His adrenaline sometimes got the best of him. He never wanted to hurt her. She was the love of his life. Hell She was his life.

He knew he had to figure out something to make it up to her. This was on him. He knew better.

"Tuck. Joey." He called out. His sons found their way downstairs. 

"Yes, dad?" "What's up Ben?" They replied. 

"I need your help, Your mom's upset with me" He said.

"Is that were her attitude came from?' Tuck asked.

Oh god, if she was showing her attitude, he knew he was really in for it.

"Oh yeah, your definitely on the couch tonight, what did you do?" Joey asked chuckling slightly.

"It's a long story, but I need you guys help." Ben said wiping his face.

Miranda was livid and it showed. When she got to work, people picked up on her irritation and stirred clear of her. She made her way to her office and closed the door behind her. She threw her stuff down in a rough manner. 

"Damn it Ben" She called out.

She loved that man so much, but he was the vain of her existence. She really couldn't believe him. You would think after all their years of marriage and everything that they had been through he would know better.

There was a knock on her door, but she paid it no mind. She didn't want to hear it and she didn't want to be bothered. 

"Dr. Bailey" They said as the door opened. Miranda looked up and their stood her new intern Dr. Wright. He definitely must not have gotten the motto to stir clear of her when she wasn't in the mood. 

"What do you need?" She asked with a certain level of irritation in her voice. 

"Is everything already?" He asked stepping further into her office.

"I'm fine, now what is it that you need." She snapped.

Just as Dr. Wright was about to talk, there was a knock on her open door. She looked around Dr. Wright to find Tuck standing there, the light of her life.

"Ma" He called out. 

"Hey baby" a smile creeped onto her face. 

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

He pulled some flowers from behind his back. 

"I just wanted to bring you these." Tuck said as he walked over to her desk and sat the flowers down. She stood to hug him and when she pulled way she rubbed his face, taking in her baby. He was so tall now. He towered over her.

"Thank you baby" She said sweetly as she kissed his cheek.

They heard someone clear their throat and break the mother/son moment that they were having. She completely forgot that Dr. Wright was in the room.

"My apologies, Dr. Wright what was it that you needed?" She asked, her voice more sweet this time.

As if clockwork, as he was about to speak, there was another knock at her door. She looked around him again to find Joey, the other light of her life.

"Hey momma B." He called out as he made his way to her desk.

"Okay what do I owe these surprises to?" She asked.
