Chapter 10

3 days later (Logan's and Zach's Birthday)

Logan's P.O.V.

I woke up to my entire family singing happy birthday to me. I sat up and look at Zach who is by the door glaring at everyone. "Let me guess, they got you too?" I ask him. He nods and glares even more. "Happy birthday Logan!" My mom yells. I see Kat and Jasmine laughing. "Do you have to wake us so annoyingly?" Zach asks. "Yeah couldn't you have waited till our alarms woke us." I growl. My dad laugh as my mom growls at us. "I made both of your favorite meals for breakfast and you're complaining?!" She asked. "Sorry mom, but you know I've been staying up all night researching for the school in London..." I tell her. She sighs "I'm sorry dear. Have you decided on what to do yet?" She asks me with a smile. "I'm not so sure. I'm leaning more towards not going... I dont know if I'm ready." I look around at everyone as I speak. "Well you'll know when the time is right." Kat says with a smile. "Aren't your things packed just incase?" Jasmine asks me. I smile. "Yes, I packed my things as a just incase." I tell her. "Well come down for breakfast once you're dressed. I have everything ready." My mom says before pushing everyone out of the room. I laugh and get out of bed to get dressed.

I walk downstairs and find a plate full of food. "Eat up. There's more if you want it." My mom says with a smile. I see Ariel come in and she tackles me in a hug. "Happy birthday!" She screams in my ear. "Thanks. If I didn't know any better I'd think you were trying to burst my eardrums." I say sarcastically then start eating. "Oh hush you big baby. Have you decided yet?" She asks. I should my head. "No but I have to decide before lunch time today. The plane from here leaves at 3 to go down to Texas. Then I'd be leaving tomorrow morning to the next stop before London." I explain to her. She just nods. I see sadness in her eyes. "You won't miss me long. You're birthday is coming up and you'll find your mate." I smirk as I say this right as Dakota walks in. He hears me and I see a smile form before he quickly hides it. He grabs a plate and sits down. Leaving a place between us. Ariel sits in the seat and I see him smile again. We all eat in silence expect for Kat and Jasmine who are talking away.

I look up when I hear someone walk into the room. "Luke!" I jump up as I say his name and I run over to hug my brother-in-law. He laughs an hugs me. "Happy birthday Logan." He says with a laugh before handing me a box. I take it and he walks over to Zach and hands him a box as well. "Happy birthday Zach." He smiles and takes a seat beside Kat. I open the box. Inside was a silver watch. It had a small digital box that had a different time in it. "You can set both clocks. If you go to London it will be very useful. You can set it for time there and the digital can be what the time here is. So you know when a decent time to call would be." Luke explains. I smile and take the watch out of the box, looking at it. "This is great. Thank you both." I hug my sister and brother-in-law. Zach got some video games he had been wanting. I look at the time. "Almost time to head to school." I say. "Right! I forgot I have to get there early today to finish my test!" Ariel yells before jumping up and running from the kitchen. We all laugh and I see a large smile on Dakota's face. "Now you smile." I say to him. He rolls his eyes. I walk back up to my room and get my things together before heading back down. "Bye mom! Bye dad!" I yell before running out the door to my motorcycle.

I get to school but cant find my friends anywhere. I walk into the building and head to my first class. I sit there as everyone walks in. Kendall doesn't show up. I don't know why but it made me upset. For some reason I really wanted to see her today. I sat in class thinking of reasons she'd be gone. Before I knew it the bell rang to go to our next class. I sigh, dragging myself to my next class.

At the end of the class I was making my way to my next class when someone ran past me crying. It felt like someone shocked me. I see where the girl ran from and I walk over to the door. I look in and immediately I feel anger. I see Brandon in the room practically having sex with none other than Amanda. I burst through the door and they immediately jump apart, Amanda screams and I growl at Brandon. He looks terrified. I grab him by the throat and throw him across the room. "You filthy son of a bitch!" I snarl. Logan its Kendall. I saw her run into the bathroom crying. I heard Ariel through the mind link. I snarl and grab Brandon again. Amanda screams again as I slam him on the ground, hard. I begin punching him and I hear her scream again, but right now all I could think of was how this bastard had hurt Kendall. Why am I so angry? I feel someone finally pull me off of him. "Logan calm down!" I hear. It was Zach. Someone stepped in front of me and I calmed down some. "Someone get him out of here." Zach growls. He pulls me from the room. "Ariel told me she needs you for something. I'll deal with that idiot you go." He says, pushing me away. I growl but nod. I turn and run down the hall.

Hurry up! Kendall needs up!

I'm running Kai calm down we're almost there.

I finally find Ariel. She sees me and sighs in relief. "She wont let me in there. She's crying so much... I dont know what to do Logan she's scaring me." Ariel says, panic clear in her voice. "Its alright Ar." I walk in, not caring it was the girls bathroom. I hear her crying and I feel a pain in my chest at the heartbreaking sound. I try to walk in but the door is locket. "Go away Ariel!" She cried out. I frown and place my hand on the door. "Let me in Kendall." I say softly. I hear her crying cease for a moment. "No, go away." She says, her voice cracking. I wince at the sound. "Let me in or so help me I will break down this door." I growl. I hear her move around then open the door slowly. I kneel down and pull her into my arms. I immediately regret coming in here for her.

Mate!

Kai growls lowly. I freeze.
